Trying to find out where i left off from this was not worth it cause i genuinely wrote horribly.
I'm gonna change the character of Lily and make her Maisie cause i love using their little friend group.
I actually had zero clue what to even write so i just winged it, sorry if it's really shittyyy

Noah's pov:
I really needed to start giving attention to him so he doesn't do idiotic stuff to get my attention.

Yes my work mattered, but so did he, actually he mattered more, but i wasn't showing that to him.

I'd noticed from the fact he was doing specific things just to grab my attention when it shouldn't be like that, he was becoming even more sensitive, especially when i accidentally snapped at him.

Because really, he shouldn't really be this excited that were going to the mall, but he's excited because he actually gets to spend time with me.

I warned everybody not to ring me or anything while i was gone, so far it'd gone well.

I don't think I'd seen him this happy in a while, which felt nice but stabbed me in the gut for not being able to continue being like this with him.

And then my phone rang.

"Who is it?" he asks while looking through a rack of shirts for his size

"Maisie."

"You said they all had it under control though."
he stops and looks at me

"I know i did, because they have, i don't know why she's ringing me."

"Answer it." he presses his lips together

There goes the first strike of disappointment.

He moves away to the next few racks as i answer her call.

"Why are you ringing me, Maisie? I told you not to."

"I know, i know, but this is extremely important."

"No Maisie, you know i can't, he's gonna end up getting upset again."

"Half of our men have been wiped out."

"What? How? When?"

"Exactly, i don't know, I'd just gotten an alert right now, judging by the mass amount of bodies, the systems must've been hacked or else i would've gotten this probably, hours ago, we're being invaded."

"Fucks sake." i cursed

"I know your trying to be better for Michael, i understand, i feel bad as well, but he might be at risk as well." she explains

"I know what you mean." i usher Michael over to me, taking his hand

He shows me what he wanted to buy, i kissed his cheek, going over to the tills to pay for him.

"But i think Michael should help us."

"I'm not allowing that, no, never." i quickly paid and grabbed hold of his hand, walking out with him

"He's technically more trained for this than probably all of us, he may not be as strong but he's definitely better, he could help us find out what's going on, maybe he won't get upset at you then."

"No."

"Come on, think about it."

I look back at Michael who's now looking down, fiddling with the bag strings, i press my lips together, looking around, before sighing.

"I'll see, I'll be there in fifteen."

"What happened?" he mutters

"Let's get you into the car first."

Once we were onto the road i placed my free hand on his thigh.

"Listen, I'm sorry, okay? I know how much you were looking forward to this." i apologize

"It's fine." he mumbles

"No, baby, it isn't, there's just been a lot going on. "

"Can i know about it? Or are you just gonna not tell me." he frowns

"No, i will tell you, i actually might need your help."

I can't believe I'm actually doing this.

I explained to him what had happened and how he could help us.

"You must really not know how to control your systems if you lose that many." he mocks, leaning back

"But i don't want you to get involved, in case you get hurt."

"Noah, were immortal, we heal quicker, i can't die, I've been doing this since i was three, do you want me to forgive you or not?"

"Are you blackmailing me?" i gaped

"Maybe." he smiles

"Fine, but you have to take this seriously-"

"Quit acting like my dad before i get my dad on you." he threatens

Maisie shows both of us the footage and everything she could possibly find on the incident.

Until Michael spotted something and i don't really know what he did and suddenly he'd found out more stufd that'd take us a month to figure out.

"Maybe you should let him work with us." Maisie whispers to me

"Maybe you should shut up." i snap back at her

"There you go, that's their name, location, where their base is, who controls it." he stretches his arms

Me and Maisie are both too stunned to even respond to him, he gets off of Maisie's chair, takes my hand, waves goodbye and leaves with me till were in our bedroom.

"Sometimes you really do underestimate me."
he's pinning me against the door, looking up at me with his doe eyes, keeping my head down to look down at him

I crouch down till i was at his height, mocking him, his mouth widens in disbelief and he hits me as i laugh.

"So your not mad at me?" i cup his face

"No, i don't want to keep arguing with you." he admits

"Me neither, baby." i kiss his forehead

"I just don't want you to forget about me."

"I could never forget about you, but I'm sorry if i get too distracted sometimes."

"It's okay." he kisses me

I wrap my arms around his waist, deepening the kiss, he's playing with my hair as i move towards the bed, he lays down as i climb on top of him, pushing my tongue inside his hot mouth.

After a while, he moves away, a string of saliva connecting us as he kisses me once more, smiling.

"You have such a gorgeous smile."

He blushes slightly, giggling as he rolls away from me, i move to the pillows, he lays on my chest as i rub his arm.

"You know if we'd argued once more i was genuinely gonna divorce you."

"Bit rude."

"But then I understood you were trying your hardest to earn my forgiveness so i scrapped that plan."

"What so you just suddenly don't love me anymore? Ouch."

"No cause I'd probably get back with you in like a week, I'll always love you."

"I love you more."
