Noah's pov:
Michael's parents stayed over, well i told them too but Michael doesn't need to know that, he slept in, on my chest with Tart fast asleep in his arms, I'd finished up any paperwork for the day, just knowing that was about to be a chaotic one, it was about twelve when i decided to wake him up, Tart already awake and had scurried off as he whined, moving around on my lap.

"Come on, you can't sleep all day." i said in a calm tone, careful not to alarm him with him only being half awake.

"There's nothing to do though, please stay your so, warm." for some reason, it did feel wrong to just get up and leave him, so i
didn't, rubbing his back.

"You should talk to your parents, baby."

"No thanks." he grumbled, curling up on my chest.

"It's only gonna make it harder for you, i know you miss them and they miss you, all you have to say is that you don't want to file for a divorce anymore, thats all, I'm not saying you have to just forgive them because that's up to you but at least talk to them."

"Fine, fine." he huffed, sitting up as i smiled, kissing him as a reward, he pulled away and went to take a shower, so i finally went down stairs to make breakfast, finding Elizabeth trying to climb up the counters, with her messy curly hair and her baggy pajamas.

"What are you doing hun?" i chuckled, helping her up.

"I always eat, cookies in the morning." she clasps her hands together, in a shy manner.

"Well they aren't over there, let me get them for you." i help her back down, opening the pantry door to get the cookie jar, giving her one as she grins, taking a bite immediately.

"What do you want to eat for breakfast?" i kneel down to look at her so i wouldn't strain the little girl's neck.

"Can i, have, do you have cornflakes?"

"I do, you wanna pick? Your brother is picky so i have to get multiple." i sighed showing her the row of cornflakes we had as she ended up picking the most colourful.

Michael's parents were out on a quick errand and Michael still hadn't come out the shower, probably zoning out, so i stayed with Elizabeth and Cc for a bit, catching up with the young pair before deciding to go check on him.

"Michael?" i called out when i was suddenly tackled into a hug, his fluffed up hair rubbing against my stomach as he sniffled.

"Hey, what's wrong?" i rubbed his back, I'd almost tried to grab his chin to look at me, but coming to conclusions he probably won't want that straight away, i didn't do anything.

"I'm really sorry." he sobbed

"For what?"

"I know, I'm mean sometimes and i don't mean it-" i decided to finally pick him up, he quickly curled up on my chest, i knew when he started to overthink and get upset it meant he wanted to be treated almost like he was a child, i think it helps with him understanding it's fine better, i kissed his forehead, rubbing his back.

"We're past that now and your insults weren't that insulting anyways, it's fine now, i promise." i reassured him

"I don't hate you, i swear." he sniffles, rubbing his eyes

"I know you don't."

"But do you hate me?" he pouts, looking at me finally, his once evil blue eyes had now softened, full of tears that glistened and fell as he spoke.
