Noah's pov:
I woke up before him, which wasn't surprising, he always slept like he hadn't rested in years, clinging onto me like if he let go I'd disappear, my arm was wrapped around his waist, his face half buried into my chest, one of his legs thrown over mine, I didn't move, didn't want to wake him, didn't want to ruin, whatever this was but my mind kept replaying what he said last night.
"We should do what couples do but not have the label." I frowned slightly, staring at the ceiling, that sounded stupid, it was stupid but I still stayed, still held him, still let him pull me into something that didn't even have a name.
He shifted slightly, pressing closer, mumbling something under his breath, I looked down at him.
"You're clingy." I muttered quietly, he didn't respond, just tightened his grip slightly, I huffed out a small breath, brushing a hand through his hair, soft, always soft.
My phone buzzed on the bedside table, I carefully reached over, trying not to wake him, Aiden, of course.
Aiden
You alive or did the bunny kill you?
I rolled my eyes at the message.
Me
Shut up.
Aiden
So he stayed over?
I glanced down at Michael, still asleep and still wrapped around me.
Me
Yeah.
Three dots instantly appeared unfortunately.
Aiden
You're so fucked.
I didn't reply because for once, he might've been right and i hated when he was right, pissed me off.
"Who are you texting?" I looked down, Michael's eyes were half open, voice raspy'
"No one important."
"Rude." he mumbled, shifting so he was now basically on top of me, I raised an eyebrow.
"You planning on getting off me anytime soon?"
"No." he said instantly, eyes closing again, I let out a quiet laugh.
"Thought so." A few minutes passed, just silence,
comfortable silence and before i knew it.
"You're thinking again." he spoke suddenly, I sighed.
"Am I that obvious?"
"Yeah." he lifted his head slightly, looking at me.
"You do this thing where your jaw tightens." I rolled my eyes.
"Didn't realise I was being analysed."
"Always." he smiled slightly, tracing his finger along my arm and that, yeah, that didn't help.
"What's on your mind?" he asked, I hesitated and then
"What you said last night." He went quiet.
"Which part?" he asked carefully.
"The whole 'act like a couple but not be one' thing."
"Oh." he looked away slightly, dropping his head back onto my chest.
"That."
"Yeah, that." There was a pause.
"I meant it." he said after a moment.
"I know you did."
"And?"
