Michael's pov:
I was back into the watch room or whatever, basically my father's office, crying my eyes out as i fell onto my knees on the floor.

"Michael."

"Bring him back, please." i choked out, covering my face with my hands, barricading myself with my wings, they ached since I'd pulled out a feather but that was the least of my worries.

I felt my father's presence closer to me, i repeat myself again.

"This is exactly why i said don't fall in love, firefly." he says in a more comforting tone, i flap my wings at him to go away, but he doesn't.

"I'm sorry, please just bring him back, I'll do anything." i begged

He still doesn't respond when i finally look at me, sniffling.

"He will come back to me, right? He's an angel now, i did what you told me to do, he'll be back, right?" my voice is shaky

"The process takes some time, firefly-"

"No! Well hurry his up, i don't care, put him in the front of the line or something, i want him back, now." i stood up, my body was so shaky and i was wobbling, falling back onto the table as my father rushes to help me, holding me close

"I'll try, but this is exactly why i told you not to do this."

"I felt bad." i sobbed into his arms

"I know."

"He was so sweet."

"I know." he hugs me

"He's only just been selected into the system, it'll take him about a week-"

"A week? No, i can't survive a week!" i cried

"Michael, you've known the boy for a day."

"I don't care, I've never felt like that with anyone else."

"Yeah, that's called being in love."

"Make him find me quicker, i don't care, but if ut takes longer than a week I'm not gonna be happy." i wiped my face

"I'll try, we should go home now, I'll let the other members know to hurry up his process, but that's it okay, after today your going back on track, alright?"

"Well obviously, I'm not gonna just fall in love with someone else, i might've known him for a day but it was enough to prove that i did like him." i held onto his arm as he clocked out and told a member what the issue was.

Back at home I'd eaten a little bit of dinner before hiding away in my bedroom, after fixing my bleeding wing, it was a little sore to even flutter it but whatever.

I kept receiving so many flashbacks with me and Noah it was making me go crazy, it can't even be that hard, all he needs to do is ask questions and somehow get through the kingdom.

But i can't activate the feather just yet, because he only has one shot of this, so i need to wait till he's entered through the gates.

For the next two days i guess you could say i was a moody prick but at least i did my job, checking the gates every few seconds just to see everybody but him.

On the third day i snuck through my dad's files amd found out he had passed through, so I'd sent out a signal, i was at the gardens, checking over the plants my mother planted, before sitting down under an oak tree with my journal, i did this to control my emotions.
