During the night, Charlie never wanted to leave Max's side as he was resting in her bed. She sits besides him and holds his hand as he sleeps.

He was very ill as the demon blood inside is almost at full control as it tries to take over his mind fully next as the final stage of changing him from a human into a powerful demon that is more powerful than Lucifer.

However, the serum that Stolas injected into his body slowed the process, which bought them time to get ready to defend the hotel as they are ready whatever Adam is planning to attack them and taking Max away.

"How is he?" Vaggie asked as she came in with some medicine that Stolas gave her for Max to take.

"He hasn't woken up at all. His head feels badly warm, which is a fever. A side effect before the demon blood fully takes over him." Charlie explains while a little upset.

"Stolas gave us some medicine he made to help him lower his fever and to slow the process more." Vaggie says as she poured it into a small cup.

"Any word from my dad, coming over soon?" Charlie asked.

"He's coming soon. He needed to do something real quick as an errand." Vaggie answers.

"Oh. Like what?" Charlie asked.

"He's having a meeting with the other deadly sins over the attack Adam is planning right now." Renamon says as she comes in.

"He's still not awake yet." Charlie says with concern.

"Well I hope we are ready to do the extraction when Lucifer gets here. The demon transformation is almost done, and things will be worse if Max becomes a royal demon fully. But I'm afraid that doing the extraction is deadly to Max if we do it wrong." Vaggie explains.

"I'm scared of this too,Vaggie. I don't want him to become a dangerous demon that could cause chaos if he couldn't control what power that takes over his innocent self. If heaven approves of me having Max earlier, they can help extract the demon blood out of him without any worry." Charlie says as she hugs Max tightly.

"Hey Charlie. Some angel named Emily is at the door. You want me to kill her?" Angel asked.

"No, don't! What does she want?" Vaggie asked.

"She wants to help out on extracting the demon blood out of Max. She believes you are a great mother for him anyway." Alastor explains.

"Let her in and please don't kill her." Charlie says.

"I was joking anyway." Angel spoke as he headed back downstairs and let Emily inside.

"Princess." She spoke as she says with a smile.

"Hi Emily." Charlie spoke with a nervous smile.

"You got some nerve coming here. Here to rub it in after what Adam and Sera did to Charlie?" Angel asked.

"Angel. Let's not start anything rash. Everyone please leave the room. Charlie and I need to talk to Emily alone." Vaggie spoke.

Angel and everyone else did so.

"I know Adam is a horrible person, and I'm sorry about what he, and Sera did to you. Please understand that I'm not agreeing to their decision on taking your human child away. I heard Max is infected with demon blood, and he will turn into an uncontrollable dangerous royal demon that will be more powerful than your father. Am I right?" Emily asked as she examined Max.

"Yes. His innocent self will be gone and chaos will happen if the transformation is done. I'm scared of doing the magical extraction because I don't want to get Max killed in the process if the demon blood becomes unstable." Charlie explains.
