Chapter 26

Flashback....

4 years ago in a trailer park in Lubbock Texas...

"Hey Judy. Give me a beer will you?" The father says while he was sitting with his friends while watching the football game.

"Hang on, Hank. Trying to change Max here." Judy says while exhausted and stressed as she tries to change Max's diaper.

"Well, hurry! I don't want to miss Texas Tech scoring another touchdown!" He shouted.

   Judy took it as a grain of salt, and placed Max into the crib, before heading to the kitchen and giving Hank and friends each a beer. She couldn't stand the domestic abuse any longer, but she couldn't afford to leave with Max yet.

After the football game was over, Hank's friends left, and were really drunk.

"Judy! Clean this fucking mess!" Hank shouted while drunk.

   Judy sighed as she started cleaning up the living room as she heard Hank collapse into their bedroom. He exhaled in relief as she won't have to deal with him anymore for the rest of the night.

   She heard Max crying again, and she immediately went to check on him. She hurried and carried him to the kitchen as she made some baby formula for him.

"It's okay Max. Shh, shh." She says as she gives him his bottle.

   He stopped crying as he started drinking from his bottle. Judy placed back in his crib, and headed to sleep for the night.

   Everyday was like a routine. After Hank leaves for work, Judy makes sure that the trailer is clean, and makes sure Max is in good care. However, it was a nightmare occasionally when Hank was never really a good father since he only cared about his next can of beer after getting off work. And when he's drunk, he becomes very physically, and Verbally abusive to Judy occasionally. She was used to it since she was very strong willed.

   As a year passed, Max was only 2 years old, and he was able to start walking on his own, and started to speak. However, it became more difficult as he was free spirited, and Judy was worried that he could get abused by his father if he was a handful being a terrible two.

   One day, Max was just being himself as he was just running around excitedly in the living room while Hank was getting irritated by him as he tried to watch the football game. Max accidentally knocked over a bottle of his father's liquor from the table which enraged his father.

"GOD DAMMIT! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Hank shouted as he stood up and went at him.

"Hank! Stop! Please don't!" Judy shouted as she put Max behind him.

"Move! He needs to learn!" Hank shouted.

"He's only 2. Just sit down and I'll get you another bottle of liquor." Judy suggested in fear.

   Hank sat back down, and watched the game. Judy immediately takes Max to his room, and puts him in his crib.

"Max, please stay here, and don't leave this room until I say so. I'm going to do something important." Judy says as she leaves and locks the dead bolt on the door after closing it.

   She heads into the kitchen, and makes a huge decision as she pulls a huge knife out from the block. She decided to get rid of Hank since she really cared for Max not wanting to be a victim of domestic violence. Hank was calm as he wasn't aware that Judy was slowly behind his chair.

   After five seconds of hesitation, Judy stabs Hank in the side of the neck deep. He gagged as he jolted by the knife going in deep. She stabbed him again in the chest out of anger. Hank gurgles blood out of his mouth as he struggles. Judy stabs him again once more in the shoulder to finish him off.
