Everyone was ready to take the fight to Royce as we all headed to the downtown district. It was a long walk for all of us but Bee decided to stay in the sky for anything ahead. As we are somewhere close to the highway of Loop 289 and University Avenue, we decided to stop and take a breather after the 6 mile trek.
"Whew, give me a sec." Blitzo says as he decides to sit down for a minute.
"How much father?" Max asked.
"Still a long way to go." I spoke.
"We need a couple of vehicles. Walking won't be good for us." Renamon spoke.
"At least there is a dealership that is just right here. I suggest we take a couple." Verosika suggested.
"I'm in for that." Cherri says.
"Who knows how to Hotwire?" Husk asked.
"Not with these new 2024 models." Blitzo says.
"I got an idea." Millie says
"Like?" Moxxie asked.
Millie then picks up a huge piece of concrete and throws it through the dealership window. The alarm sounded and many shadow imps started appearing around us.
"Are you stupid?!" Vaggie asked while irritated at Millie.
"Hold them off, while I get the keys to our wheels." Millie says as she, Moxxie, and Blitzo went inside the building.
"Time for some target practice!" Carmilla says as she starts killing a group of shadows with her sharp heels.
"Hell Yeah!" Milky says as she and Coco start shooting more coming at us.
"Don't let them overrun us! Push them back!" Vaggie shouted as she stabbed many down with her spear.
We have been holding the enemy for a few moments as we were desperate to escape the area.
"What's the hold up?!" Loona shouted as she went into the building for a minute.
"The keys to the cars are in a safe, we are trying to get it open!" Millie shouted.
"Well, hurry up! We can't hold them off forever!" Loona shouted as she ran back outside to help.
"Hey Bee, can you use your real special giant ability?" Max asked as he sliced a few shadow imps.
"You got it!" Bee shouted as she went into her giant form and started mercilessly killing every shadow imp that surrounded us.
She went into an insane killing spree as she slayed every shadow imp in front of us. After a couple of minutes, the coast was clear, and the enemies stopped spawning around us. Bee turned back to her normal form exhausted as she was about to collapse. Vortex immediately caught her.
"Whoa! I got you." He says as he gives her a bottle of water.
"Whew. thanks." Bee says as she chugs it down.
"That was cool, Bee." Max complemented.
"Thanks." She spoke as she was able to regain her energy.
"I got the keys! Take your pick!" Millie says as walked with a handful of car keys.
"I know what I like to drive." Verosika says as she spots a car of her interest.
"Pick your cars fast. We can't stay here forever." I spoke as I chose a car of my choice.
"I call shotgun, Stan." Loona says as she jumps into the passenger seat.
