The next morning, Charlie and everyone were getting ready to plan on saving Lubbock County from Royce's control. I was able to show her a simple map of the city. We noticed that Royce was able to turn city hall into his own empire.

"He created a force field surrounding the whole city of Lubbock and even the neighboring town of Wolfforth as well. No one can enter or get out." Renamon explains.

"And we have noticed that Royce was able to take over City Hall, and even the law enforcement can't be able to take him down with his shadow imp army that he just created to enslave whoever is trapped inside Lubbock County." I added.

"We do need to do something, I bet Heaven noticed what trouble Royce is causing." Vaggie says while concerned.

"I bet they already knew." Charlie says while worried.

"Are they taking action right now?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, Stan. After we killed Adam and pushed them back, we haven't heard from Sera or Emily after they let us have Max into our care." Charlie explains.

"Heaven is currently on lockdown afterwards when we heard Sir Pentious is now part of their community." Vaggie added

"So Redemption is true after all." I spoke.

"I always believed in that." Renamon says.

"Thank you, you two. It's getting late. Why don't you guys get some rest? Vaggie and I can finish up on our battle plan against Royce." Charlie says.

"Don't stay up too late. Come on Stan."  Renamon says as we headed upstairs to our rooms.

Meanwhile...

   Max was getting ready for bed for the night, but couldn't relax since he really wants to have closure after defeating Royce. But he knew he must do a lot of combat training tomorrow morning with the Carmines.

"Max! Are you in bed yet?" Vaggie asked as she came into the bedroom.

"Almost. I just finished brushing my teeth." Max says.

"Okay. You do need to get up early tomorrow though for your combat training. You want me to tuck you in?" Vaggie asked.

"Yes." Max says as he gets into bed.

Vaggie smiled as she put the covers over him, and tucks him in.

"Sleep tight." She says before turning off the lights and leaving the bedroom.

Max sighs and closes his eyes to rest.

   Vaggie headed to her bedroom having second thoughts of letting Max join the war against Royce, and asked, "Charlie?"

"Yeah?" She asked while brushing her hair.

"You think we are doing the right thing by letting Max join us to fight against Royce? We are letting a child fight a dangerous battle on Earth with us." Vaggie says while having doubts.

"Vaggie. I can see potential in him, I am certain he will be alright with helping us save Earth, and have closure from his trauma by his enemy." Charlie says.

"But still. I'm just not sure we should put him in danger like that." Vaggie says.

'If it makes you feel better. I won't let him leave my side during the battle." Charlie suggests with a smile.

"Okay. Just promise Max won't get killed by this." Vaggie says.

"I promise, Vaggie." Charlie says before she hugs her.
