Max was so shy and nervous that he couldn't answer while Verosika smiled and teased him a little, but he finally was able to after a few seconds.
"Just bowling with my friends." He answers nervously.
"Oh really? Same here." Verosika says as she pinches his cheek for a second.
She got suspicious as she noticed the pale makeup was on her fingers and asked, "Are you wearing makeup?"
"My mom wanted me to look nice in public." Max lied.
"You must be Princess Charlie's child everyone is talking about aren't you?" She asked with a smirk.
"Um, yes." He answered.
"Don't be nervous, kid, I don't bite. Why don't you hang with me and my friends for a bit?" Verosika suggested.
"Well, my friends are expecting me back soon. Sorry." Max says as he is about to head back, but Verosika scoops him up fast from behind.
"No no, sweetie. I think you will be better with me." Verosika says as she carried him
Max froze as Verosika hugged him tightly as he was taken to the lane where her friends were waiting for her.
Apple took her turn and made a strike and noticed Verosika is coming back with a special guest,
"Hey guys, looks like Verosika brought a friend for us to play." Apple teased.
"Who's this cute sinned child you brought back?" Kiki asked as she stood up.
"Charlie's adopted son. He is going to join us for some fun. Here, you can have him first, Kiki." Verosika says as she gives Max to her to sit on her lap.
Max doesn't know what to do as freezes in fear and vulnerability.
"What's wrong honey? No need to be shy." Kiki teases as she pinches his cheek a little.
"Well... um..." Max says as he couldn't say his words well.
"No need to speak. Sounds like you just need a rest." Kiki teases as she puts his head under her chin.
"Your turn to bowl Kiki. Let me hold the child." Apple says as she took Max from her."
"Why?!" Max thought as he wanted to get out of the situation.
Meanwhile,
Octavia was really worried that Max didn't return back yet as she went to check on him from the restroom. But when she saw Max was with Verosika and her friends, she knew that Max was blushing and uncomfortably vulnerable with the excessive motherly love that they are giving him.
"God... Not them." She says as she went to save him.
"Where is she going?" Sir Pentious asked.
"Looks like Max is in trouble. Vaggie will kill us if something happens to him." Husk says as he follows Octavia fast.
"Max!" Niffty says aggressively as she follows as well.
Octavia hurried as she went to confront them to give Max back.
"Hey." Octavia says sternly as went to them.
"What do you want, Goetia?" Verosika asked in a smarty tone.
"I want to have my little brother back. You are making him uncomfortable." Octavia explains.
Max was about to get off Milky's lap, but was pulled back in her arms.
"No way. He's my child now. The last thing I want is spoiled scum Goetia like you turning him into you." Verosika says with spite.
"Yeah? I can turn you into hellborn trash like you into stone!" Octavia threatens.
