Renamon headed to the courthouse to participate in a case that Royce is participating as a defendant lawyer for a shoplifter. She sat down on the bench to spectate the case.
"Case number 457. Harold Numan accused of stealing a Series X from Target." The secretary spoke before sitting down.
"Your honor, there was evidence that he stole the console from the stockroom, video evidence." The prosecutor says.
"Objection! The video evidence was so degraded that it won't show his face very well. My client is innocent, and at the wrong place at the wrong time." Royce explained.
"Prosecutor Heather, may you show the video of the incident from the store cameras?" The judge asked.

Heather ————————
"Yes, your honor." Heather says as she inserts the VHS tape in the VCR.
The tape played the incident, but then Royce secretly used his secret powers to cause the VCR to Malfunction and damage the videotape enough that the evidence against his client was destroyed.
"What's going on?" The judge asked.
"I don't know, but something is wrong with the VCR." Heather says as she tried to get the tape out, but unfortunately got damaged as the tape was burned and pulled by the VCR before it was ejected out.
"You're honor, Looks like the evidence is useless because of the unexpected events. She has no evidence against my client and the case should be dismissed." Royce says while smirking.
Renamon was suspicious since she sensed an unknown power in him.
"Wait your honor. This tape just needed to be fixed, and maybe..."
Heather didn't finish as the judge interrupted her.
"I'm afraid this evidence can't be used in this case. I'm afraid that this case will be dismissed." The judge says as he hits his desk with his gavel.
"Tough luck." Royce says as he taunted her before leaving with his client.
"You are a sick individual of letting criminals get away from justice." Heather says while angered.
"Well, you did a suck job of keeping the evidence useful." Royce snapped back at her before leaving the courtroom.
Heather felt discriminated against by him as she wanted to keep the city safe from criminals. But she was suspicious of how he was able to have a perfect case record of his clients being not guilty of their crimes. Renamon followed Royce to his car after his client paid him dearly for the case.
