~ 3 years later ~

I watched as my family ran around the grassy area just outside Tony's California home. Natasha, Steve, Clint and Maria were currently in a heated NERF battle. Thor and Jane were splashing in the pool. Bruce and Tony were in a discussion about science-y things. As for me, I was taking as many pictures as I can.

"Auntie Rora!"

A smile grew on my face as I turned and saw my beautiful nephew running towards me, a large smile on his face. I bent down to his level and opened my arms. "Howie!"

Howie crashed into my arms and I swiftly picked him up, spinning both of us around. His giggles filled the air and my laughter mixed with his. Howie peered over my shoulder when we stopped and a smile lit up his face.

"Uncle Steve!"

I turned to Steve, handing over Howie to him. Howie excitedly wrapped his small arms around Steve's neck and squeezed. "Heya Howie, how are ya little man?"

"I had a lot of fun at Daycare today! The teacher even gave me a star sticker!" He pointed to the small sticker on his overalls.

"Wow Howie, that's awesome! You must've been very good today." Steve cooed.

"I was! I was! It was costume day and I went dressed as Aunt Tasha!"

Natasha paused in her pursuit of Clint, "Did I hear that Howie dressed like me today?"

"I did! Everyone loved my Black Widow costume."

Nat smiled and kissed Howie's cheek, "That's my boy. Now, I have to go get Uncle Clinton. Do you wanna help me?" Nat'a eye glinted with mischief.

"Can I mommy?" Howie turned to Pepper and she nodded. Howie scrambled out of Steve's arms and took one of Nat's guns, following her around.

"He's such a good kid." I smiled at Pepper.

She nodded and placed a hand on her heart, "He's much like his father though." Pepper's eyes wandered to her husband who was still in deep discussion with Bruce. They were so full of love.

"I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing." I laughed and felt arms wrap around my waist, resting on my stomach. I turned slightly to the side to see my loving husband. "Hey."

"Hey." He gave me that lopsided smile I always loved. "How's our little girl doing?"

"For it being almost time, pretty good. I can't wait to see our baby girl." I looked down and laid a hand on my pregnant belly.

I haven't been able to crime fight for the past eight months. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I got injured one day fighting some maniac and was taken to the local hospital. They ran tests and bam! the news I was pregnant was news to both Steve and I.

We were married a year prior to that. Our wedding was in Brooklyn because I knew it would mean a lot to Steve. It was simple and our Avengers family was there along with their significant other. Bucky, of course, was Steve's best man and Natasha was my Maid of Honor. Nick walked me down the isle along with Justice (who must I say, have gotten engaged.)

Everyone that we knew was there. Thor and Jane, Clinton and his family, Wanda, Bruce, Sam, Tony, Pepper and Howie, Phil, and a few others.

I had found were Steve's parents got married and hastily rented out the place. I thought it'd be a nice way of including Steve's parents. He was so happy that he cried and kissed me when I told him where we'd be wed. Bucky had helped me along with Tony.

It was a truly beautiful ceremony and at the reception everyone laughed and had lots of fun. I made sure to take lots of photos. I didn't want a photographer, but wanted my family to take their own and then we could sort through them at the tower. And when I threw the bouquet, Natasha had caught it. Tony proceeded to hip bump her into Bruce.

A sharp pain broke me from my reminiscing and I let out a small cry of pain. "Steve!" I gripped my husband's arm tightly, "Steve, it's time."

He looked away from Pepper, "What?"

"Baby's coming." Another wave of pain coursed through my body. "STEVE!"

He quickly jumped into action, calling out orders to the team. Even though I was in pain, Steve was still hot shouting orders. Pepper and Natasha helped me out to the car. Tony grabbed the baby bag and the rest were supposed to meet us there.

Ten hours of labor and our baby girl was finally here. We only got to see her a few seconds and then she was whisked away. The doctors said that there was something wrong, my baby wasn't crying.

I gripped at Steve's hand, tears streaming down my face, "Steve, what's going on?"

Steve looked just as scared as me, his face ghostly white, "I don't know honey, but I swear she'll be okay." He squeezed my hand in reassurance.

I watched as doctors rushed around the incubator my daughter lay in. It was only a few minutes, but it felt like excruciating long hours, our daughter finally let out a cry.

Tears of joy began rushing down my face as I watched the doctors bring my little girl towards me, wrapped in a pink blanket. I looked at the small bundle of joy in my arms and then looked up to Steve.

"She's beautiful." Steve whispered.

"She is and she's all ours."

The doors to my room burst open and in walked the others. They all got special access since well, they are the Avengers. Everyone crowded around and cooed at our daughter.

"She's adorable." Natasha smiled.

I smiled at her, "Do you want to hold her?"

Nat happily took her from me and rubbed a finger against her small cheek, "I'm your Auntie Natasha. It's so wonderful to meet you-" Nat looked at me.

I laid my hand on top of Steve's and I smiled at him then looked back at my daughter, "Peggy."

"It's so wonderful to meet you, Peggy."

The others held her and cooed at her. Talking baby babble. My life was finally complete. I had Steve, the Avengers and my baby girl, Peggy.

And I was going to make it my mission to make sure the world was safe for her, Howie, Cooper, Lila, Nathaniel and any other Avenger children we may have coming.
