dew-kissed dawn, sky rinsed clean,
white-linen clouds, grasses green.
oh, look, the sunrise spilling sheenest gold;
we're young, but our souls: wise and old.
love in your eyes — i'm already intoxicated.
barefoot, gleeful, in between the orchards.
in your arms, the stillness shimmers,
our midnights drenched in softest velvet.
we chase our rainbows
(not to catch, but to get coloured).

we're green with life,
the others green with envy.
in your gaze, the world holds its breath.
i just want us to paint the town red.
we're walking on air, the moon is blue,
your love tastes like warm honey and rain.

gentlemen, i don't need to drink
from the cup of sky to feel at home.
'cause he is here — my heart and soul.
wine-red pigments on an azure wide sky,
his passionate gaze that makes the stars shy.
we are two brushstrokes on the city's heartbeat.
i'd get lost in a thousand cities
if it meant finding you again.

beneath the Manhattan skyline,
we are gleaming, shivering, sparkling.
love, even the skylines
lean closer when you speak.
crowded streets, or the quietest hills,
i wish i never lose you, oh love,
wish you'll always be
in stunning skylines and splendid sunsets,
and with me
oh, my map, my magic,
my miracle of peace.
everywhere is beautiful,
because everywhere has you in it.
the city hums, the valley sighs
oh, how they both sound like your smile.
your gaze makes the countryside blush,
and the city breathe.
oh dear, how did i ever think
i once didn't want this?
when night pours its ink through the trees,
i'll rest in the story i painted myself.
i painted for myself.
