Slow-jazz hum. Flickering neon.
Grazing thumbs. Evading eyes.
Bold lipstick. Shimmering dress.
Chiselled jaw. Ruffled hair.
Glasses clinked. Chorused breaths.
Crossed legs. Uncrossed hearts.
Muted familiarity. Soundless confessions.
Breath-held admissions. Unvoiced revelations.
Sacred speechlessness. Quiet rebellion.
Heartbeat dialogues. Eye-contact syntax.
Blank-page intimacy. Hushed Crescendos.
Pause-shaped love. Pulsed translation.
Nonverbal exchanges. Thickened tension.
Unmoving conversation. Hush-shaped grief.
Tacit thunders. Wordless forgiveness.
Gentle unspeaking. Reverberated waiting.
Lingering regret. Crystallised heartache.
Melancholic romance. Unspoken ache.
In the end, belonging always had a dual meaning.
Belonging. And, be longing.
