Delirious smile, elated heart,
His laugh a spark she can't outsmart.
Heart hammering, she starts to write,
I like how we never run out of things to say.
A moment long—an epoch deep,
His answer drifts like a tide in blissful sleep:
Same. I feel easy, with you alone ;)
Her pulse takes flight, her courage sings,
a midnight draft unfolds its wings.
Pixelated longing finds its door,
This is starting to feel like something more.
Ellipsis heartbeat—there, then gone,
A silent cadence she impatiently waits upon.
He comes online—blue-tick bruise,
Notification ghost, digital ruse.
The room now roars with nothing sent,
his absence howls in the glow she lent.
A screenshot of an almost,
saved only to her doleful half-read heart.
The truth arrives in a quiet scream—love, seen at 2:13 a.m
