There is this daze state

That moment when there is no logic

Until you realize where you are

And see that all  was an illusion

I did not know him

At least not for real

The truth was that I saw him

As one of the characters of the books I used to read

I wanted him to love me as Peeta

Forgetting him it seemed like waking up from a dream

First came the disorientation,

With memories invading my mind so quickly

But after some time, a few of them solidified

While others were lost in a confusion

In the end all of that was fictitious

I can now distinguish what was real and what was not

So when the sun came up

And the dream ended

I woke up

And wanted to live this real life

Leaving him and those dreams definitely behind
