As I grew up,

I heard of this home

That gives you this sensation

That makes you feel like you belong

When I was young

I thought it was a special place

I would meet on grown-up days

But it turns out home can be a person

And at 16, I thought I had found my own

For most of my high school years,

I thought Vincent was my home

And it was a very good one

But he shattered it into pieces

With one single text

And that is why I'm laying in this mess

Homeless
