Being the newbie to the local horrors, Eddie was shaking as he tried to explain what he had witnessed the previous night. It was a fair reaction, although the otherworldly didn't react much. As Blake had said, they had seen strange things before and their tolerances were pretty high. Scarlett tried weed once and ended up crying because she thought she was feeling electricity and the demogorgons were coming for her, she stayed away from trippy drugs ever since.

"Her body just, like, lifted up into the air and, uh..." Eddie wavered, hand shaking like a leaf. "And she just, like, hung there. In the air." Eddie's brow furrowed under his bangs. "And her bones...Uh, she...Her bones started to snap." Eddie twitched as the memory flashed before him. "Her eyes, man. It... It was like there was something, like, inside her head, pulling." Eddie mimiced pulling with his hand. "I... I didn't know what to do, so I... I ran away." Eddie looked down, fresh tears pricking in his eyes. "I left her there." The young man forced himself to look at the calm people around him before he averted his gaze and covered his face with his hand. "You all think I'm crazy, right?" He asked softly.

"No. We don't think you're crazy." Dustin held up a hand as though to coax a wild animal.

Eddie snapped. "Don't bullshit me, man! I know how this sounds."

"We're not bullshitting you," Max said quickly.

Robin added. "We believe you."

"Look, what I'm about to tell you might be a little... difficult to take." Dustin frowned. A little difficult was the understatement of the century. He would commit about 3 felonies and breach countless contracts by telling Eddie what was going on.

Eddie frowned in disbelief. "Okay."

"You know how people say Hawkins is..." Dustin tried to find the words. "Cursed?"

"Like gate way to hell," Blake made devil horns with her hand. "Satanic panic mania and shit."

Dustin sent the older girl a glare. "As I said, cursed..." He turned back to Eddie. "They're not way off. There's another world. A world hidden beneath Hawkins." Floating white flecks, vines and screeches. "Sometimes it bleeds into ours."

"Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie asked, brow pulled up.

Dustin shifted. "There are some things worse than ghosts," Max whispered.

Dustin looked back at Scarlett before looking down at her hand, silently asking her to show her scars. They were the most physical evidence they had considering that Floyd's eye was visually intact.
