"Yeah, it's a shame," Blake huffed. She kicked the brick wall of the school building as Robin stood beside her.

Robin looked away from Blake and scratched her head. "It's fine," Robin smiled. "You've seen me play like a million times. One game won't make the difference."

Blake looked at Robin and raised her brows before shaking her head. To her, it was one evening lost. The good thing about those games was that Blake could stare at Robin without anyone questioning it. Some people were more interested in the marching band than in the basketball game. "Good point."

The two teens shared a look before Robin glanced at the watch on her wrist. "Shit, I'm late!" Not sparing any other words, Robin hauled her backpack up and rushed away. "Talk to you later!" She waved back at Blake and almost tripped and fell.

Blake chuckled to herself and inhaled sharply before she walked away to the game of the nerds.

"No, I really do have to get home," Scarlett said, jostling her arm out of Wendy's grip. The Henderson was halfway up to her dorm, but Wendy was stubborn.

Wendy tugged Scarlett's arm again, she was about a second removed from picking Scarlett up and dumping her back in the party. "I'm sure a few hours won't hurt," Wendy sang.

Scarlett sighed, shaking her head. "No Wen, I love you, but I really do have to go home. Come with me," Scarlett offered again, tilting her head sideways and smiling widely at her friend.

For once, Wendy appeared to seriously consider the idea. The woman looked away. "I don't do well in small towns," Wendy's eyes dropped down but she smiled again. "But if you must insist, I'll swing by on Friday."

Scarlett cheered and threw her arms around Wendy. "That's great, you'll finally meet my cat." the brunette turned and opened the door of their dorm to grab her two bags.

Meanwhile, Wendy leaned in the doorway, keeping the door open with her foot. "The infamous Tews, can't wait," she shook her head and stepped aside to allow Scarlett to pass before she closed their door behind them. "Just remember, if you feel like the devil is taking you," Wendy made claws and dove down to Scarlett in a fake attack. "Think happy thoughts and go to the second star to the right."
