Werewolf Cinderella

Chapter 9

Katie POV:

I ran into the house and quickly got changed and hid the dress below the floor boards. I stopped to catch my breath. Although I was part wolf and can run fast doesnt mean i cant loose my breath. I looked at the mirror and saw the girl in the rose dress. 

I smiled and laughed,I found my mate. And he was the prince of werewolf. Oh, and my door was still locked, I just climbed through the window. And I checked to make sure it was still locked. Anyway,I found him. But I dont think he will ever find me, or want to find me. I am a slave to my family.

At least I had that one moment with him. I paused and looked around and then panicked. MOMS MASK!

I couldnt find it anywhere. I must have dropped it somewhere. Last place i remember having it was at dad and moms graves. Then I climbed over the wall and My mate came out of the brush then....

Oh godess. He has moms mask,which means he may be able to find me. I cant stand rejection,not after mom and dad had died. That will just break me to pieces. 

I hear cries out my window. I look out to find Ava and Maggie crying. Angela trying to block the noise. "Katie!"Ava yelled. I guess she forgot that she locked me in my room,so I couldnt go to her call for once.

"Oh, yeah. we locked her in her room so she wouldnt come to the ball and talk,"Ava said as she trudged up the stairs. She unlocked my bedroom door and looked at me. I was still standing by the window.

"Whats up?"I asked.

"The prince didnt even notice me or Maggie. He found his mate in the queens garden. But she ran off,so he may want to find a new queen so, not to late to steal his heart,"She said with a sneer as we descended the stairs. 

"Ok, so what you need me to do?"I asked Angela.

"Just clean up and do the laundry. You get an easy day today,"She said going to her bedroom. I did my chores and decided to sweep the main hallway.

Today was a great day. I loved it. I wished that him and I could dance and see if he liked the way i was taught. I smiled and danced with the broom and I made it look like I was sweeping.

I then started to imagine what It would be like If he did accept me and If we had started a family.

It was amazing.

Daniel POV: 

I walked back to the palace staring at the mask that my mate was wearing. Inhaling the scent I realized that it had another she wolfs scent on it. But it was her moms so I just ignored it.

I needed to find her. Jason was going baserk without her. I was as well. When I teared up,she calmed me down and I stopped crying. I was happy in those few moments that we had. Then those two twins ruined it.

I came up the stairs to the ballroom door. The party was still going and Father was having fun. I tucked her mask in my breast pocket inside my jacket. I glanced over  and saw Anna looking at me and giving me a wink. Some she wolfs where just too much, like her. I walked over to the hallways where my bedroom was and went in and locked the door, in case Anna or any other girl had any ideas.

I took out the mask and placed it in a box my mother gave to me. I fit perfectly. I locked it and placed it on my bedside.

There was a knock on my door. I thought it was Anna."Go away,Miss Anna,"I said looking at the box.

"My name starts with an 'A'. but im not Anna,"The figure said behind the door. It was Anica. I opened the door to see her looking at me.

"Why would I be her?"She asked with a playful grin. I locked the door again and stood by it.

"Sorry,"I said looking down. Since my mate left the party I have been down.

"I heard you found her,"Anica said breaking the silence."Why dont you tell me about her,"She said with a huge smile.I spent the rest of the party telling her about my mate.I even showed her the mask that she dropped. Eventually I had to stop cause it was late and Anica was getting tired. She left,but before I could lock the door,Anna placed her foot in. She pushed past me and sat on my bed."What do you want,Anna,"I asked.

"Why do you speak to your mate that way,love,"She said looking at me. So I did the only thing I thought of. I picked her up and placed her outside my door.I then locked it and went out to my balcony. I could see the wall and the apple blossom tree. 

But really caught my attention was the house not to far from the wall. I figured that I would check it out later. But I needed to find her and the mask was going to help me.
