Chapter 27

Katie POV:

I woke up a little uncomfortable. I tried to move and when I did. Some arms tightened around me. I looked to see we where sleeping on the couch in the sick wolfs room. I found a blanket over Will. His father seemed to be doing better.

I tried to move Daniels arms from around me. But everytime I tried, He would just make it tighter for me to move. On my last attempt, Will woke up and looked over at me.

I then motioned for him to come over to me. He nodded his head and knew just what to do

He started to tickle him and I just started to laugh. So did Danny. He let me go and Will walked down with me to the Cafeteria so we could eat some breakfast.

"Miss. Katie? Are you a princess?" He asked in his cute little voice. She nodded her head. He then went over and sat on my lap.

"Then I promise to protect you with my little life as well as i can," he said saluting me. I started to giggle.

"I thought that was my job,"Danny said coming over to where we where. He placed a kiss on my head and took a seat next to us.

"You know that Daddy wont make it? Right?"Will said a tear falling. I looked at him and the at Danny.

"He has cancer. Had it for a while. Daddy doesnt have long,"His little voice said,trying to hold back the tears.

I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close while feeling my shirt get a little wet. Dr. Maple came out and walked over and grabbed his hand to bring him up to see his father again.

"Im afraid that your father doesnt have much time,"she said. Will nodded his head and walked towards her. Before they went upstairs i watched her pull out a sheet of folded paper and handed it to Danny.

She nodded her head once more and walked off with Will.

Danny opened the paper and looked over the writing,then his eyes went wide before he handed it to me. Fearing the worst,i looked it over and gasped while putting my hand over my mouth.
"He...."

Daniel POV:

"He gave us full custody of Will,"she said. I nodded my head. Then came to realize that meant that his father didnt have much time left if he was giving us full custody now.

I saw Katie look over the paper more then once,her still not believeing it. "We are going to be parents,now???!!!" She said. I nodded my head,not a way i would have wanted to start a family,but still it was a small start.

She got up and placed her hands on her head and went over it again and again,only in her head.

"Katie,we can do this. I know we can. And we have support from my father,and our friends. We will be ok,"i told her.

She nodded her head,still processing the information. She then grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs.

When we reached Will's father's room,he was having a hard time breathing. Dr. Maple was watching over Will and his father.

He looked over our way and with what little strength he had,morioned us forward.

"I-I....d-dont have much.....t-t-time,my son,"he tried to say.

"I know,papa,"Will said with the tears coming down.

"You will be staying with the Prince and his Mate for a while. Be good to them now," he said.

Will nodded his head and cried even more.

"We will take giod care of him,"i told him.  Katie was already in tears for the man was dying right in front of us.

"I know ...y-y-y-you will. I am sorry for putting this on you so late and unknown," he said.  We both nodded our heads. He placed a hand on his sons cheek and gave him one last smile then fell to sleep for the rest of his life.

Katies eyes watered even more,Wills were worse. Dr. Maple put a sheet over the fallen werewolfs head. Will got up and ran into Katie's arms. She held him close and i held them both close.

Anna would not get away with this boys loss. I will see to it my self.

This boys family will get the burial and rememberance they deserve.

Sorry for the super long weight and the short chapter. School was back in session,not to mention,i got a job,plus its my senior year, wanted to get some fun. But i havent forgot about u guys. I have more chapters that will be up and running faster this time.
