Katie POV:

I watched the sky, its deep blue and wondrous purples all a glow. I remember sometimes looking out into the night from my window in the attic. The stars and the moon, the lights glowing so brightly. I then looked down at the ring on my finger.

A little less then a few months ago, I didn't even think I would get out of that place of a home. Me cleaning, washing and taking care of stuff for three she wolfs who could fully take care of themselves. Now im a mother, engaged to a prince, and living my life completely different.

Yet I feel like something is off. I took in a deep breath and decided I needed fresh air.  I took off and headed for the woods. Since the last attack, The woods and gated areas around the castle have been well guarded. As well as myself, shockingly.

I still needed to just get away and be myself. Running up until just about the border. My ears twitched up and I listened and heard the guards stop and hide. I didn't think that it was that big of a deal and I have kinda gotten used to it nowadays. Especially if I was to be the future queen.  Laying in the grass, I continued to look up.

I took a deep breath and with my eyes closing, I drifted off to sleep.

Daniel POV:

I waited to hear from the guards. I stared out the window of our sons room. His little body sleeping and moving under the covers. I saw her go for a run, I suppose she has been doing that more often lately. Maybe the nerves where finally getting to her

I mean going from a commoner/ ordinary wolf to full on queen and mother. Not a lot of she-wolfs would do that, let alone those who just want the power. Walking out into the hall, I could hear wolfs and people dancing and having fun.

I looked over one of the railings and watched as the staff started to dance along and play music, they where enjoying themselves. Something that i hadnt seen in a long time.

'Sir, she has fallen asleep. Would you like us to bring her back to the castle?'

I smirked. Of course she would fall asleep out in the wilderness. I walked over to the doors and pulled them open. I walked out and started to shift.

'No need. I will get her. Been a while since I had a good run on the grounds'

I started to run off to find my future bride. Although I was in wolf form, I could imagine grinning from ear to ear. I sniffed and sniffed until I found her scent and followed the trail to her. Walking over to her i noticed how tired she was, and I curled up right  to her side.

She moved her head onto my paws and I placed my head over hers. I looked up at the moon. Its light was shinning and gleaming, I enjoyed it. Until a howl sounded in the distance. It wasn't a full moon.

I nudged Katie awake, slowly opening her eyes, she heard the howl too. Standing on all fours, we started to run back to the castle.  I stayed a little ways behind her to make sure she got back safely.

Into the castle we ran and shifted in the room. In the bathroom she shifted and grabbed a robe and wrapped it around her body. I shifted and grabbed a sheet and wrapped it around my waist, which probably wasn't the best Idea at the moment, but it was all I had.

A knock came at the door and in came a maid. She looked at me, then at Katie and slipped back out the door and I heard her screaming something. I knew I would deal with that in the morning.

Katie started to laugh and fell on top of the bed. I grabbed some boxers and walked off. When I came back I was in pj pants and looking at her in some plaid shorts and one of my less formal shirts.

I just couldn't help the smile on my face.

Hey there everyone!

Long time no hear. Im sorry I haven't been able to post anything. I have been busy with school and such. Due to the holiday and My birthday coming up soon, I may post a little bit more and hopefully finish off the book soon enough.

Im sorry if this is just a little chapter that just pushes it. I will make it go a little faster and have a little more of a plot the next one. Keep reading.

See you next time!
