Chapter 21

Daniel POV:
Jason whined at the thought of losing her,our mate. Maybe she found another that makes her happy,i quickly through that thought out of my mind.

I still was trying to process why she didnt want me looking for her. I looked out the window and saw the dove sitting on the balcony. I took out paper and a pencil and wrote to her.

Dear Katie,

I know you may not want me to find you. But I just wont listen. I love you and dont want to lose you once again. You dont have to tell me where you are,but I will find you eventually.

I looked at the note and nodded my head. Rolling it up,I handed it to the dove,which then flew away. I hope it would find her correctly.

I laid in bed and looked at the ceiling,tears forming a bit.  I grabbed the note she gave me. I hated what it said,but her scent was on it. It made me feel good,and calmed Jason down just a bit. He nuzzled his pillow and looked at the second one on his bed,thinking of her. Imagining her asleep next to him.

Then the tears started to fall. He needed to find her. Before they did. But where could she be?

Katie POV:
I layed in my friends bed. If it wasnt for them finding me,i would probably be dead. I started to bleed when i jumped out the window.

My eyes where droopy. I hadnt slept since i left him. A knock came at the door. I made a little sound and i couldnt see who it was,but they came in.

"Go to sleep,Katie. If something happens,i will let you know," it said. I nodded my head,then fell to a dreamless sleep.

Daniel POV:
I woke up early and grabbed my stuff and stuffed it ina car and waited for Zach and Nick. We where going to find my mate today.

I paced in front of my car when Nick started to walk over yawning,then falling on the ground. Zach started to pull him and strapped him in his seat and we where on our way.

"What took you so long?" I asked them. Well tecnically him since Nick was snoring in the back seat.

"We wanted to sleep a bit. Something was going on so we didnt get to go to sleep for a bit," Zach said yawning. He watched a bit and tried to stay awake. It didnt prevail till we where out of town.

I caught her scent in a town called Razor blade.  Odd name. But it looked nice in the day time. It may look different at night. But her scent was faint,so i may ask a couple people about her later. Well i will try. If girls dont attack me.

Nick woke up all of a sudden and started to sniff the air. His eyes got small,or so i think. I was driving and cant take my eyes off the road. Otherwise, there will be an accedent and i dont want to explain that to my father.

But as i took a peek in the mirror,he was trying to get out of the seat. His eyes where frantic. I remember that look and feeling. When I first found Katie. Zach had the same look,but he was a bit more calmer. I decided that these two wouldnt stop till we found these girls.

So i stopped at a hotel and Zach and I had to wrestle Nick to get him inside. He calmed down after a while and relaxed. Night was beggining to fall. "What was that about?" I asked Nick. "And why didnt you act like that?" Directing that to Zach. He shrugged his shoulders and we both turned towards Nick.

"It was her. She is back,"He said.

"Back," i asked him.

He just nodded his head." It was at the ball. You had just found your mate. I found mine as well. She had a dark purple dress and her hair was curled and pulled up. It was a sandy blonde. And her eyes where green. She was perfect.  But then when your mate took off,so did mine. I lost her. But i have her scent again. We need to go find her. Please?" He said.

I nodded my head. We walked around till we heard some music playing in a building.  A club maybe. Nicks eyes got wide and he looked over to the building. As the night started to claim the sky, the lights in the building got brighter.

We walked to the door and stepped in. The lights where bright, It kinda hurt my eyes. A weird song was playing and ahead of me was a lot of wolfs and she wolfs dancing. They honestly looked like they where having fun. I whined a bit. Zach was squeezing my arm. His eyes darting to a pretty brunette.

She had tints of red throughout her hair. She was wearing a skirt that went past mid thigh. She honestly looked really nice. She walked towards a couple that had a bottle. "Hey, you know the rules,Benny,"She said to the boy. The girl looked really clueless. "Come on kid..."He started. 

"Dont you kid me,Benny. Me and Holly started this with a good reputation. And we are keeping it that way. Get out,Benny. She can stay. No more women for you,"She said. The girl gave her a hug then went over with her friends and started dancing again. Benny gave the girl a look, and she didnt cower at the look,like most she wolfs would. She was a true warrior.

After he left she walked over to the center of the crowd. Zach then followed his mate and dragged me along. We went looking for her. We spent a while looking for her. Nothing. We met up with Nick at one of the tables. He shook his head at us and looked back down.

I took in a big breath. Then my own eyes felt like they where getting bigger. I smelled Katie. She was here. But why? I would have to ask her later. I looked around with my eyes,but only came upon the DJ and Zachs mate. I tapped his shoulder.

They both look up towards the turntable to find their mates rocking out. Then the blonde looks at me. Her green eyes knowing why im here. She shook her head to a flight of stairs. I started to walk that way. The two girls looked at Zach and Nick. When i realsized they wouldnt move, i grabbed their collars and pulled them along,just seeing the girls smirk as i dragged them away.
