Bitten

Alexis was whispering in his ear. He was smiling and laughing with her.I frowned and sat in my seat in the front of the classroom. When class was over, I bolted out the door. I walked to my next class and quickly sat down in the back.

As class started I was relieved that Zero wasn't in the class. It carried on I laid my head down and fell asleep on the desk.

"Ashley." I heard Zero say

I opened my eyes to see nothing but the midnight sky surrounding Zero and I. The look on his face made me self conscious. I laid my hand over my face. I blushed when I felt him gently grab my wrist pulling it away from my face. His touch sent pleasurable chills down my spine.

He slowly pulled up my sleeve and looked at me.

"You shouldn't do this." He whispered.

I blushed harder. I was speechless. He pulled my wrist up to his lips and ran his tongue over the cut on my arm. When he stopped I looked at the cut. It slowly disappeared.

"Close your eyes."

My eyes closed eyes and reopened my eyes just as the bell rung signaling the end of class. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

Great, now I'm dreaming about him. After my four morning classes, it was time for lunch. I sat in the back, by myself as usual. I looked down at my sleeve and slowly pulled it up. The cut was still there, but it looked better than before.

There was no blood and the cut was healed just pink. I stared down at my arm, so deep into thought that I didn't realize that Zero and Alaya stond infront of me.

"Can we sit here?"

His low sexy voice pulled my eyes away from my wrist. I looked up at them.

"Um.."

I looked passed him and saw Alexis looking over here obviously upset.

"I don't think Alexis would like that." I mumbled

Alaya looked at me with her hard eyes as Zero looked over his shoulder at Alexis. When he turned back around her face went back soft. Were they dating? Zero smirked.

"She can handle it." He said

What does that mean?? They both sat down and started to talk in another language that I didn't understand. I ingored them until i heard my name them Alexis name. I frowned and looked at them.

"I-"

I stopped they both looked at me. I felt something strange feeling run through me. I looked around the cafeteria no one else seemed to notice but me.

"What's wrong?" Zero asked

Just as he said that, the strange feeling escaped my body. I stood up and quickly left the cafeteria. I ran out of school and saw something that I knew I wasn't suppose to see. It was a man, he had red eyes and fangs. I froze when his eyes met mine. He smirked, then disappeared.

I was still frozen, feeling that he was still near.

"You smell delicious." I heard a man's voice say behind me.

I was too terrified to move because I knew that it was the man I saw a few minutes ago. He grabbed my hand and lifted it up to his face. I blushed when I found out he was smelling me. Creepy huh.

"Maybe he'll come out if he smells you."

He laid his hand on my neck then felt a huge pain in my neck. I screamed and felt my body slowly getting weak. I felt his hand and fangs leave my body. I fell to the ground, holding my neck.

Blood running spewing through my fingers escaping out onto the ground. He looked at me.

"If he doesn't hurry I'll finish you." "Why are you here?" I heard Alaya say.

The man turned and looked At them. I turned as far as i could but it wasn't far. All i could see was Zero and Alaya looking at the man. Zero looked at me. His eyes were red like the man's.

When he was finished with him would he finish me?

"Why have you bitten this innocent girl?" Alaya asked.

"Alaya handle him and I'll heal Ashley." Zero said

"Yes my lord."

My lord? In a blink of an eye Zero was next to me. And all I could think was great.
