Chapter 2: pure blooded

I awoke from whispers behind the closed door. Something I shouldn't be able to hear.

"She should be waking up soon." Alaya whispered

" What if we were too late?" Zero asked

"We weren't."

I moved slightly then felt a huge pain all over my body. I screamed. Alaya and Zero came running in.

"She's awake finally." Zero said

"She's in pain." Alaya said

"It'll hurt alittle."

"Alittle my ass." I cried

I rolled over and curled up into a ball. My body hurt so much.

"Your hungry." Zero said

I felt the bed shift. I heard him bite into his arm. And a wonderful smelling aroma filled the room.

"Drink."

He laid his hands on my waist and pressed his arm against my lips. His blood smelled so good and made my teeth sink deep into his arm. Since when did my teeth do this? I sucked on his arm feeling pleasure run through my body. Replacing the pain with pleasure and filling my stomach.

I pulled my teeth out his arm and ran my hand over my lips. My teeth stretched over my lips.

"What happened?"

I looked at Zero. He seemed so sad.

"You died." Alaya said

I hesitated

"But I'm not dead." I mumbled

"Because Zero changed you."

I quickly sat up and looked at him.

"Into what?"

He looked at me.

"Into a vampire."

I froze. This must be a joke.

"This is a joke." I mumbled

"This is no joke. You are no longer human. Your an vampire...a pure vampire." Zero said

"Pure?!" Alaya said

"Yes pure. When a pure vampire bites and changes someone that person becomes a pure vampire. That's why we are under law not to bite anyone."

I quickly jumped out of bed and fell to the ground. Dammit my legs are all stupid. How long was i out?

"You can't walk yet you were out for a few days"

"Being a pure blooded vampire she should have healed." Alaya said.

"Stop lieing!" I screamed "There's no such thing as vampires."

"Do you remember that day we first came?"

"No."

"That day you were attacked by a vampire we wouldn't remember because I wiped your memory."

That day came back to me in a big rush. Causing the biggest headache I've every felt. I screamed. Zero kneeled next to me and pulled me into his arms. I felt tears starting sting my eyes.

I cried in his arms until it hurted.

"Why did you change me?"

"It was either that or watch you die."

After being embrassed like I was death seemed okay.

"What am i gonna do now?"

"Stay here until we find you a charm that allows you to walk in the sun."

"What about school and my parents?"

"It's only Monday you'll get it at the end of the day. And they think your at school."

"It's morning?"

"Yes. Zero and i should be heading to school."

"Go ahead I'm staying with Ashley."

"Zer-"

"Go ahead."

She frowned then walked out the room and out the house. Zero picked me up and sat me back on the bed. I groaned. He laughed.

"This isn't funny."

"It kinda is for me."

I sighed then pushed him gently but it caused him to fall out the bed. I blushed and sat up.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay."

He pulled himself back into the bed and laid down. Then I started thinking about that night.

"Why were you crying?"

"What?"

"Why were you crying?"

He hesitated.

"Because i thought i was gonna lose you."
