Pure blooded

I looked at him and turned away.

"You barely even know me."

He gently grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

"I know you enough."

He kissed my lips then pulled me into his embrace. I laid my head on his chest listening to his heart as if it was mine. Our hearts beat at the same pace making me smile. I looked up at him and kissed his lips. Then I felt my body pulse and my heart skip a beat.

I pulled away and sat up laying my hand over my heart.

"What was that?"

"It made you my mate."

I looked at him.

"Your mate."

"Yes."

"Alaya is your mate."

"Not by choice."

"What about Alexis?"

"Her blood masked the smell of yours that's the only reason i went any where near her."

I smiled"Are you saying her blood smells bad?"

He laughed.

"That's exactly what I'm saying."

I laid back down in his arms and closed my eyes.

"I'll never let anyone hurt you again."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

He kissed my head then we both drifted to sleep.

I awoke hours later still in Zeros arms. I smiled then escaped from his grip. I walked to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I Looked so different. My hair grew longer it now passed my butt, my eye color now was the color of an almond when you crack it open, my cheeks were pink along with my lips.

After staring at myself in the mirror for a while i heard someone yelling.

"You useless Bitch!"

It was my father. I frowned and ran downstairs. I opened the door and hesitated. Then i felt Zeros arms around me.

"Don't go you'll die."

"But my mom needs help."
