Attack

Zero gently pressed his forehead against mine.

"Do you hear that?" He whispered so only i could hear.

It was quite for a moment and I could hear foot steps.

"Yea I can hear it."

"Do you have your gun?"

"No its back at home."

"Well get ready."

I nodded then heard the footsteps stop then heard something weird. Zero and I quickly turned around. I punched the first thing that came out of the shadow. Zero did the same. I felt it grab my leg and forced me down to the ground.

I frowned and kicked it off.

"Ouch! I didn't sign up for this!" A familiar voice said

"Dammit Alaya what are you doing here?" I mumbled

"Kurt wanted me to test you but I didn't realize that I'd get hurt."

I rolled my eyed

"Your an idiot you know that."

She shrugged then punched me in the face. I frowned and punched her back. We both stood up and I swung her into a tree. I looked at Zero who was actually talking to Kurt.

"Never take your eyes off an opponent." Kurt said

I turned and saw a branch headed towards me. I frowned ducked. I ran back towards Alaya and kicked her on the back of the knee making her fall to the ground. I grabbed her neck and looked at Kurt.

"Your enjoying this aren't you." I asked

"Yea.", Kurt said

"Yep." Zero said

"Jerks."

I didn't notice that Alaya grabbed my wrist until I was flat on the ground. She flipped me. She stood over me. She lend down alittle and I kicked her in the face then tripped her letting her fall to the ground. I quickly stood up and roughly put my foot on her chest pinning her down.

We twisted and turned trying her hardest to move but eventually stopped when she realized she couldn't.

"Fine I give up."

I smiled and moved my foot off her chest and walked over to Kurt and Zero. They both looked kinda frightened.

"I'm not gonna say anything because I actually enjoyed kicking Alayas ass."

"You didn't kick my ass." She groaned

"Your right I handed it to you."

Zero laughed and pulled me into his arms.

"Where your gun?" Kurt asked

"I lefted it at home." I mumbled

He sighed,"Do not leave it again."

"Okay."

"And one more thing."

He tossed me a metal staff. I looked at it.

"What is this?"

"Its your other weapon." Zero said

"Its a staff from a powerful vampire that was killed. He gave it to me. It really hasn't attached itself to anyone since the vampire." Kurt explained.

"If it hasn't then why are you-"

Before I could finish my sentence I burning sensation coming from my shoulder. I groaned and pulled my sleeve up. The tattoo reappeared because it wasn't there when I was in the sleeveless dress or when I was naked.

"What is that?" Zero asked

"I don't know. It appeared after Vince changed me." I mumbled.

I let go of the staff and hugged my arms. The sensation stopped. I took in a deep breath and looked at Zero and Kurt.

"What the hell was that?!"

"I haven't got a clue." Kurt said

"Your the big bad hunter!"
