When the deal was made we all went home. Zero and I went to my place. My mother was getting dressed along with my father.

"Ashley." Mother called

"Zero go upstairs I'll be up in a minute." I said

He kissed my forehead then walked upstairs. I walked onto their room. Mother smiled and pulled me to her.

"You look so different... What are you?"

I hesitated"Can't you tell?"

"Tell me."

"Don't ask questions you don't wanna know."

She looked at me then smiled.

"Your right."

I walked out their room and escaped upstairs. Zero stood by the window looking out. I shut the door and walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him. He looked over his shoulder at me. He turned around and cupped my face.

He laid his forehead against mine. He kissed my lips.

"Get dressed." He mumbled against my lips.

"Why?" I asked

He looked at me.

"Where going to go find the beast that attacked you that night."

I looked at him and ran my fingers over his lips.

"Get dressed."

"In?"

"A jacket and a pair of pants." Zero laughed.

I moved out if his arms and walked to my closet and grabbed a black shirt, a black hoody, and black converses. I looked at Zero.

"Close your eyes."

He smiled."Whatever you want."

He closed his eyes and i climbed out the red dress i died in and replaced it with the clothes i pulled out. When i finished dressing i turned and looked at him.

"I'm done."

He opened his eyes and grabbed my hand. We ran downstairs and out the door. Alaya stood outside with a frown on her face. Of course she would have a frown on her face i took her mate. I sighed.

"Ready?"

"Ready."
