Chapter: Creatures

I turned and looked at Zero. He stared at Vince eyes full of rage. I looked back at Vinces he only smiled at Zero.

"I have to go nice meeting you Vinces."

"Nice to meet you also Ashley."

I turned and gently grabbed Zeros hand. I managed to pull him away from Vince and to the other side of the room. When he was all calmed down I gently laid my hand on his cheek and smiled.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a brother?"

"Because we never got along."

I moved my hand and took a sip from of the weird tasting blood. Zero laughed.

"What?"

"It shows that you don't like it."

"Am i not playing it off right?"

He shook his head. He took a sip.

"I would rather have fresh blood then blood tablets." He mumbled

I giggled and felt him lay his hands on my hips. I smiled.

"Are you even allowed to this during a party?"

He smirked,"I don't know and I really don't care in need something other then this awful blood tablet."

I smiled,"Maybe when you take the thrown you can improve it."

"Definitely."

I laughed at his quick reply.

"Just one bite." He begged

I looked at him then around the ballroom.

"They'll smell the blood."

He gently grabbed my hand and pulled me to a staircase i didn't see. He pulled me up the staircase onto a balcony. He closed the door behind him as he walked out. I looked up at the night sky then felt Zero gently grab me from behind. He pulled me closer to him and kissed my cheek.

I turned and looked at him. I kissed his lips and gently moved my hair off my neck.

"Not alot." I giggled

"I won't i promise." He mumbled

He kissed my lips over and over. Then kissed my jaw line, then my neck before he bit into my neck. I moaned slightly then heard someone open the door. Zero pulled away and looked. Vince smirked then walked out on the balcony.

"You are something little brother."

"What do you want?"

"Zero." I mumbled

They both didn't take their eyes off each other. I moved inbetween them and looked at bout of them.

"Can we just go." I mumbled

Zero didn't say a anything he just looked at me. I gently grabbed his hand then heard a loud crashing sound coming from the ballroom. I jumped then looked at Zero. He opened the door to the balcony and a huge flame came from it. I screamed and Zero gently grabbed my waist.

"Zero we can jump." Vince said

We both turned and looked at Vince. He was looking over the balcony. Zero and I looked over it and I felt my body tremble. I took a step back. I wasn't afraid of highs but I couldn't jump off of the balcony.

Zero and Vince looked at me. I was afraid. Even with Zero next to me.

"Ashley it isn't that high."

"Yes it is."

"Ashley -."

"Zero no."

He gently cupped my cheeks.

"I promise you'll be okay."

He smiled. His smile insured me but i was still alittle scared.

"Take off your heels."

I nodded. I pulled of my shoes and stood next to Vince by the reel. We climbed on top of the reel. Zero gently grabbed my hand and then we jumped.
