Chapter 24: Meredy

Natsu's POV

I woke up by the ring of my phone. I look at the clock and it's already 7:00. I look at my phone and it's Meredy.

"Meredy?" I pick up the phone and answer her call

"Natsu!!! I miss you!" she yelled. I remove my phone from my ear.

"Meredy! How are you? You haven't call in a while!" I said

"Ahhh...I've been busy lately." she said "Can I come to your office today? I heard that you are the new CEO of END Company."

"Your here in Japan?"

"Yup. I just arrived. And I'm with your friend now. I met her in London." she said. Meredy is a flight attendant. Last time I met her is when I stop by in France.

"Friend? Who?" I asked

"Cana Alberona. She's beautiful in person than the picture you have." Cana...

"Why is Cana with you?" I asked

"Didn't you know? She's a flight attendant also." So she already reach her dream. I'm happy for her.

"Really. Can you invite her with you?" I asked

"Sure. See you later Natsu-kyunnnn!!!~" she tease

"Stop it! That's disgusting!"

"Hahahaha Bye bye." she said and hung up.

I prepare for work before I went down stairs. I saw Dad and my brothers in the dining table.

"Good morning." I said and they all greeted me back. I sit down beside Happy.

"Dad, Meredy called earlier. She said she will visit me today in the office." I said

"Really? How is she?" Dad asked

"She seems fine."

"I want to see Meredy-nee." Happy said

"Don't worry I'll ask her if she can visit here for diner."

"Thanks Natsu-kyuunnn..." he teased

"Happy!" Romeo scolded Happy "You know Natsu-nii hates calling him that."

"Now now. Were in front of the food don't fight." Dad said

I don't know how will Cana will react if she see's me today. I better prepare my body for this. Good thing that Erza didn't use brute force yesterday or I may not see the daylight again today.

"By the way Erza brought you home yesterday. Do you remember?" Dad asked me. Erza did that?

"No. How did she know where we live?" I asked

"She called me. You should thank her."

"Alright." I don't know what happened to me after Erza throw me out of her resto.

I'm in my office now doing some paper works again. How I hate this paper works! I just can't get it off my mind what Erza told me yesterday. I know I'm drunk but I can still remember what happened.

"Lie...huh?"

*knock knock knock* someone is knocking at my door.

"Come in." I said

"Sir. Natsu. Lucy-chan leave me a message. She said she will be late. She will just. Check her company." Sam said

"Alright. I don't have any meetings today right?" I said

"No Sir."

"Tell her she can take a day off and just stay for her company for today."

"Okay Sir.....uh..When can I get a day off?" Sam asked

"When the time comes. Now get back to work."

"Meany. Sir. Zeref is more considerate than you." She mumbles but enough for me to hear

"Did you say something?" I pretend that I didn't heard it

"Ah no no no- nothing!" She said and close the door behind her

Sam's POV

My telephone rings and I pick it up, someone from the information wants to visit Sir. Natsu. I instruct them to let her in.

The moment she arrives, I accompany her to the boss office. I knock on Sir. Natsu's door and wait for a response.

"Come in." he said

"Sir. Natsu, you have a visitor." I was startled that she immediately came rushing in and jump on Sir. Natsu's neck and kiss his cheeks.

"Natsu-kyyuuuunnnn!!!!" kyun? Just who in the world is she?

I close the door and went back to my table. Is she Sir. Natsu's girlfriend?

"Sam!" I turn around and I see Lucy-chan here.

"Lucy-chan! Didn't you receive my message? Our boss wants you to take the day off today, since he doesn't have any appointments and meetings today....well except for his girlfriend inside his office." I said mumbling the last words about the pinkette girl

"Girlfriend? Our boss has a girlfriend?!" Lucy was also surprised to hear it.

"I think so. That girl that came visit him just kissed him in the cheeks. I know Sir. Natsu only have brothers." I said

"Maybe it's his cousin. Our boss can't have a girlfriend." Lucy said

"Hmmmm. I smell jealousy in the air. Don't you think Liz?" I said and look at Liz on her table and she put a thumb's up.

"I-I'm not jealous! Why would I be jealous?! I-I have the day off today right? T-Then I'll go home now! Bye!" Lucy-chan said and went on her way out.

"She's totally in to Sir. Dragneel." I said and went back to my work.

Natsu's POV

"Meredy! Why didn't you tell me that you are going now? I should have pick you up. Where is Cana?" I asked her after we sit at the couch

"I want to surprise you. Tehee. About Cana, she said she don't want to talk to you. She's really furious about you for some reason, I don't know why." I guess meeting her will wait huh.

"Is that so. Well I am surprised to see you. So how is my favorite cousin?" I said and pinch her cheeks

"Ouch." She said and rub her cheeks "I'm really happy to see you. I also want to visit your new house and of course uncle Igneel and Happy and Romeo.

"Sure you can come and visit after work. If you want we can go now." I said and stood up

"Of course I want to go now! Let's go!" She said with full enthusiasm
