Chapter 2: He's Back

Natsu just became the CEO of the END Company for just a week lately. The company was passed by him by the owner. The owner of the Company is Zeref a friend of Natsu from the States. Due to his sickness he passes the company in his name without Natsu knowing it. Zeref and Natsu are almost like brothers to each other. They live together and Zeref is the one that helped Natsu to survive in States.

When Natsu came back to arrange his permanent acceptance of the company, he stayed at a hotel first. The company is far from his house that's why he didn't get to see his family first. The hotel he is staying at is near the company.

The next day he went to the company to sign the papers for the declaration of the new CEO of the END Company. He was introduced to everyone in his company and they all get along throughout the week. Natsu asked where the Chief Assistant is. And Sam, an assistant said that, the former C.A. resigned because he wants the old owner of the company and he is truly devoted to him. He is still recovering from what happened to Zeref the former owner of the company.

Natsu then said to just hire an C.A. for him. Natsu familiarize himself in every detail of the company. He doesn't leave a document un-read. He and Zeref consider each other as a family and he is doing his job for the sake of his friend.

After Natsu met Lucy again in 6 years that they didn't see each other, Natsu went back home to the Dragneel residence.

The door was lock so he needs to press the doorbell. *ding dong* Natsu waited for seconds then the door opened. Natsu's eyes widen to see a young man, about 18 years old, and a little shorter than him standing in front of him by the door.

"Natsu-nii?" the young man said in a low voice. His voice is much manlier than before. He suddenly hugs Natsu.

"Happy? You've grown! I've miss you so much!" Natsu said and part their reunion hug

"It's really you right?" Happy said and examine Natsu's face. Natsu looks a lot mature now than before.

"Yeah. Tadaima! (I'm home!)" Natsu said

"Welcome home Natsu-nii." Happy said and they both went inside

Natsu went to the living room with Happy holding his luggage. "Romeo-nii." Happy called. Romeo is eating pop corm while watching a movie on their TV

"He's back?" Happy said

"Who?" Romeo said without looking at them

"Romeo." Natsu speaks that made Romeo froze. That voice he misses to hear finally rings to his ears. Romeo slowly turns towards Happy and Natsu's direction. Romeo's eyes begin to blur as tears forms into his eyes the moment he saw his big brother. Romeo stood up from the couch and run towards Natsu and gives him a hug. Romeo and Happy are about the same height. Natsu and Romeo hug like there is no tomorrow. Their tears flow down their eyes as they feel each other's warmth. "I miss you so much Natsu-nii. " Romeo then Happy joined them in a hug "Me too! I miss you both!" Natsu said

After minutes of hugging, Natsu asked where their father is. "He's still at the University." Romeo said

"Is that so? Alright I will just wait for him." Natsu said "Are you two hungry? I'll cook for you." He added

"Yeah! I miss your cooking Natsu!" Happy said

"Alright but still call me Natsu-nii! You've grown so big! I'm so proud of you!" Natsu said and mess Happy's hair

"Hey! I've just fixed this!" Happy said a bit irritated

"Hahahahhahahah." They all laugh.

After Lucy run away from Natsu, she went over to the Heartfilia Company. Lucy went over to the lobby and asked if her sister is here. "Yes ma'am she's in her office."

"Thanks." Lucy said and enters the elevator. She presses the level number. Her heart is still beating so fast. "It's returning back again, this pain that I felt 6 years ago."  Lucy said to herself.

The door of the elevator opens and she hurriedly walks to Ashley's office with the employee bowing on her way.

"Ashley! Nee-san! Nee-san! He's back!" Lucy said as she went in to her office. Ashley is on her table writing something on a document.

"Who?" Ashley said and put down her pen.

"Natsu! He's back!" Lucy said leaning on Ashley's table.

"What? He's in Japan now? What happened? Did you see him? Did he see you?" Ashley said standing up and went on Lucy's side.

"Yes, and he's ....my boss." Lucy said and her voice started to shiver and tears are forming into her eyes

"What?! How did that happened?" Ashley said and holds Lucy in her arms.

Lucy begins on crying on Ashley's shoulders. "Alright, alright! Just let it all out." Ashley said comforting her sister. They sit on the couch on her office and still comforting Lucy. Ashley is more like a woman now and her badass attitude was almost gone. What I mean by almost is her appearance and some parts of her personality, but when you anger her for your wrong job. You can meet the old Ashley again.

Returning back to them, after Lucy calm down herself she started to tell Ashley all the details.

"Why don't you just quit if you still can't face him? I'm so sorry Lucy, I didn't know that it was him that is going to be the next President of that company. I haven't gotten enough information about them." Ashley said

"I can't. I already sign the contract. I just can't quit easily like that. And you don't have to be sorry, it's not your fault." Lucy said

"How long is your contract will take?"

"I have signed for 5 months. And I can't quit until then."

"Then we can't do anything about it. Just endure working with him for 5 months." Ashley said and stood up and went back to her chair

"I don't know if I will last long Ashley." Lucy said following Ashley

"You can do it. Just be careful with your heart. It might beat for him again." Ashley holds Lucy's hands firmly and looks in her eyes seriously

"No Ashley that won't happen again, after what he did to me. I can't forgive him in my life." Lucy said

"Just be strong okay?" Ashley said and holds Lucy's face

"Yes." Lucy nodded

"Our dinner in a long time! It's my new and improved cooking!!!" Natsu said and put down the meal that he made for his brothers

"I'm home." A man said coming in the house

"Dad's home." Happy said and went to the door and drags his father to the kitchen

"Wait-Happy! I still haven't taken off my shoes—"

"Dad.." Natsu said and walk towards Igneel and hug him

"Natsu? It's you right?!"

"Yeah! I miss you Dad." Natsu cried

"Welcome home son! It's been 6 years! I miss you so much! You've grown into such a fine man!" Igneel said

"I'm sorry Dad! I'm really sorry! I don't know how I will make up to you guys for those 6 years that I've been gone." Natsu said and wipe away his tears

"You don't have too, Natsu. Being here again completes everything." Igneel said and they have the longtime family hug they long for with each other.

"I'm home Dad! And I'm not going away anymore! I promise." Natsu said

"Welcome home Son!" Igneel said

"Come on let's have dinner together! I miss this set up so much!" Natsu said and offer a chair for his father

"Thanks. I miss your cooking too. I'm sure this is more delicious than before."

"Itadakimasu!!!"
