Chapter 37: I'm Only Yours [Final]

Some endings are happy, some are not. Everyone wants happy endings but they can't get one. Every person deserves to be happy, everyone deserves a second chance that will make them prove their worth. She gave me that second chance and she gave me that happy ending that I want. She's the one that is the only one for me. She's the only girl that I will love and cherish until I live. She's the woman that my kids will call 'mother'. She's the girl that will make all my wishes come true. And she's the girl who is walking on the aisle that I am waiting for in front of the altar.

I can't help but to cry the moment I saw her in that wedding dress. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. And I can't believe that any moment now, we are going to be one. If I can just make the moment in fast motion, I will do so because I want her to be on my side now.

"Wipe your tears, she's here." Gray said beside me. I made him to be my best man.

"Shut up!" I said and wipe my tears up

"Hahahaha. I was like that, don't worry." He said and Lucy arrived in front of me. She's more beautiful up close. I take her hand on my arm and we walk through the altar.

"You look handsome." She said and smiles at me

"You look more beautiful." I said and I see that she blushed a bit. She's so cute.

"I just wish Mom and Dad are here." She said

"I know they are watching us from heaven." I said cheering her up

"Yes, I think they are." The ceremony started. My heart keeps on pounding all throughout the ceremony.

"Natsu Dragneel, do you take Lucy Heartfilia in sickness and in health to love, to honor and to serve, to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the priest

"Yes, I do!" I responded to the priest.

"Lucy Hearfilia, do you take Natsu Dragneel in sickness and in health to love, to honor and to serve, to be your lawfully wedded husband?" asked the priest again

"Yes, I do!" Lucy responded and I looked at her and gave her my brightest smile

"Lucy, I've waited this for so long.

But it is all worth the wait.

It was worth every tear and every smile.

It was worth every slap, every punch, and every kiss.

It was worth every sad and every happy memory.

It was worth every time that I lost you, just to find myself back in your arms again." I said all my thoughts as Lucy started to shed tears

"Today...today that you're here and I'm here, I can't believe I can be happier today than the wedding in my dreams. Thank you Natsu, because reality is finally better than my dreams." She said while tears are running down her face

"Destiny doesn't always decide everything. It only gives us a little push in the right direction. We decide if it's worth fighting for, worth waiting for. And Lucy, you are worth every fight, and you are worth every wait. My promise to you is that my love will always be greater than the time I must wait, and the distance I must travel to be with you. I'm only yours." I said

"Even though I've reach my dreams, it's all nothing if you are not beside me. Your love made me soar higher than my dreams will take me. I will never leave you because I love you. I will always be yours Natsu." Lucy said

The priest ordered us to the exchanging of rings.

Yuki approaches us with a pillow with our rings. "Lucy-san, Natsu-san, Congratulation." she said and gives us our rings. She's so cute, she's like little Juvia.

"Thanks Yuki-chan." we both said

"As this ring has no end neither will my love for you." I said while putting the ring on her finger

"I give you this ring as a symbol of my commitment." She said and put the ring on my finger

We both hold each other's hands and say "Your love is my anchor; your trust is my strength. You make me whole and made my life complete. I will give you all my love."

"You may now kiss the bride" the priest said

I slowly reach into Lucy's face and slowly press my lips unto hers. My chest is overwhelming in happiness.

"I love you Mrs. Dragneel." I said

"I love you too Mr. Dragneel." She said and I kissed her again

This is not the end of our journey. This is just the beginning. We are going to create more memories together as husband and wife.

2 years later...

"Alright everybody let's go to bed. I'm going to tell you a new story." Lucy said and the kids run down to our room

"Hey you brats go to your own room. Mommy is going to read your story. This is our bed room." I said scolding our kids

"You sleep in our bed. We sleep with Mommy." Tetsuya said. I think I just popped up a vain in my head.

"You already get your chance last night! It's my turn to sleep with Mommy!" I said and hugged Lucy tightly keeping her away from them

"Mommy, Daddy is being meany again." Aya said pouting

"Natsu, hahaha stop it. Let go of me." Lucy said struggling from my grip

"No, you're mine." I said. We all heard Nashi crying. I let go of Lucy and we went to Nashi on the bed.

"Hey baby what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Lucy asked carrying our youngest daughter Nashi

"Daddy. Bad!"

"Gwahh!" I think that broke my heart. I sulk at the corner of the room.

"Mommy, Daddy is sulking again." Tetsuya said. He's our first born together with Aya, our first daughter. They are two years old and paternal twins, while Nashi is one year old.

"Natsu, give them a chance for now. We can sleep together tomorrow okay?" Lucy said after Nashi stopped crying.

"Okay." I said while pouting.

"Yatta! We won! We won!" The twins celebrated and I just glared at them.

Lucy put everyone to bed and read them a story that she wrote. She wrote our children bedtime stories every week.

"Our story for tonight is about a princess and a dragon." Lucy said. I don't really like bed time stories but I always stay until the kids are asleep.

I kissed them goodnight and went to the children's bedroom. I want to cuddle with Lucy tonight. Agh! Those kids are really getting it tomorrow!

"I'll just go to sleep."

I was awaken when I felt something is crawling under my sheet. I turned around to see Lucy beside me.

"Lucy? What are you doing here?" I asked

"Don't you want to?" she asked also

"No. I want to of course." I said and hugged her

"I want to be by your side tonight." She said

"I hope you did not wake the children up." I said

"No, they are sleeping like a log." She chuckles and cuddle with me more

"You won't leave me right?" I asked

"No. I will never leave you because I love you." She said the same thing during our wedding day

"I will always be yours Lucy." I said and kissed her like we always do. But every kiss is different; it gets more tender and loving every time. I love her every time, every day, and I will love her for the rest of my life.
