"Hi Fredo...I was just getting in the shower..." Bobbi smiles as he enters the room, offering him an innocent, friendly peck on the cheek as she passes "Keep him outta trouble for me."
"Damn what's she in such a good mood for?" He asks, settling into a chair next to the couch where I sit, ready to go already and scrolling through my phone.
I roll my eyes "That concert...it's all I've heard about all day long."
He nods "Oh yeah, is that tonight...Maroon 5 right?"
I lean over and grab my drink off the coffee table "Yeah...she's fan. Has been for years...was nearly obsessed with them for awhile I guess."
"Obsessed with Maroon 5 or Adam?"
"She'll tell you it's all about the band and their music...and she's a liar." I smile, because even though it's true and I'm a little jealous, it's kinda cute to see her so excited and I've been giving her shit about fangirling all day.
"Do their fans have a name like yours do?" he jokes "Marooners? Fivers? Levinites?"
I can't help but laugh "Yeah, I think they're called Levinites."
He looks a little surprised "Really? They're called that? Wow...I was just kidding!"
I grab a throw pillow and throw it at him as I burst into laughter "You're an idiot."
Realizing I was kidding too he shakes his head "And you're a dick. You get her backstage?"
I give him a look and answer sarcastically "No Fredo, I couldn't manage to get her backstage."
"Better watch your girl around Levine." He warns, only half kidding.
"Whatever Bro...Levine doesn't have shit on me. Have you seen this face?"
"Have you seen his?" he counters "And you know how he is with women. Total ladies man."
"Ladies man? Really Fredo? What is this 1974 or something?"
"Well he is!" He replies laughing with me.
"I don't know if B's the one I should be worried about here...want to come with us so you can give him a hug and get your picture taken with him?"
He throws the pillow back at me but misses "Shut up asshole, I'm just sayin'."
"Already have plans huh? Don't worry...I'll give him your number."
He stands and stretches as Bobbi emerges from the bathroom, dressed to the hilt asking if her hair looks okay. "You look great baby..." I assure her honestly.
Fredo nods his head in agreement "You do...I'm gonna get out of here. Have fun guys."
"Those new?" I ask, pointing to the glittering silver heels she has paired with her simple yet perfect outfit of low slung jeans, and white tank top beneath a cropped, fitted blazer.
She beams with excitement "Yeah...like 'em?"
I pull her against me and breathe in the scent of her perfume "I love them, you're not allowed to take them off for the rest of the night."
"What about when we get home and I want to go to bed?"
"Especially when we get home and go to bed..." I correct.
She laughs a gives me a quick kiss "Alright...now let's get out of here, I don't want to be late."
An hour and a half or so later, I've changed my mind about her fangirling being kind of cute. She watches him with awe so intense I swear I can feel it radiating from her body. And during Kiwi it reaches new heights and she explodes into screams and cheers when he opens his arms wide and sings 'Just spread your arms legs across the bed...and when you shake you won't regret..."
I'm jealous as hell, but more so than that I'm hurt...it's nearly unbearable to watch someone else mesmerize her on stage the way I do. I honestly just want to leave and skip taking her backstage to meet him...but she's looking forward to it to say the least and I couldn't do that to her.
After the show, we're all hanging out in Adam's dressing room, having drinks and bullshitting around. I watch B and him, who are engaged in some conversation about music, miserably...and the fact that he is leaning in a little closer than he needs to be does not go unnoticed.
Suddenly Adam calls over to me, but continues to look at her "Where you been hiding this one Bieber? I could use a little..." he pauses and tugs a lock of her hair "Assistance...maybe I'll have to steal her away."
She drops her gaze to her lap shyly.
"Watch it Levine..." I warn in a forced, joking tone because in his defense, he has no idea what we are to each other "You'd be surprised by the things I'm capable of when it comes to that girl."
"I got you..." he says before addressing her with a couple taps on her thigh "You let me know when you get sick of having him for a boss."
She laughs and literally blushes, which for some reason hurts like an actual physical blow.
"Did you enjoy the set?" he asks. She tells him that she loved it and he follows up with "What was your favorite song?"
I asked her that once too. She has the same look in her eye when she answers "Kiwi..." as she did then, and I have the overwhelming need to reach for her as if she's drifting further away from me though she's only seated a few feet away.
He gives her a small, knowing smile "Kiwi was your favorite...That tells me a lot about you Bobbi..."
She returns his smile with an equally flirty one "Does it?"
"Yeah..." He nods slowly and looks her over "It does."

"Justin weren't they amazing? Thank you so much" I bounce in my seat a little. I can hardly contain my excitement. I've always wanted to meet Adam Levine, he's like a sex god with an amazing voice. I look over at him, he hasn't said much since we left the arena. Dustin is driving so we are seated in the back. I put my hand on his knee. "You okay?"
