Today is Justin's 19th birthday. I haven't seen him yet but I'll see him later. He's having a small party at a club here in town tonight. A few of his friends have even flown in to help him celebrate, which I think is really good for him right now. It's been a few days since his breakdown in my room. I think it was therapeutic for him to get it all out. He's still been clubbing but I don't think he's been going quite as hard as he was..baby steps I guess. We have the day off today so I plan on doing some shopping for an outfit for tonight's festivities. I never told him I would be attending tonight but of course I wouldn't miss it for the world. He seems to be more accepting of the parameters of our relationship these last few days but he's also been very busy with shows plus Ryan is in town along with Chaz and a few others so they have kept his mind pretty occupied. I miss my nights with him, I've been terribly lonely but he has to be willing to make the changes necessary. The road we were going down just wasn't healthy at all for either one of us.
I'm pulling on a pair of jeans when I hear a light tap on the door. I'm not expecting anyone, not that it really matters, people randomly show up at all hours. I button my jeans and quickly stride over to find out who's on the other side. I'm surprised to see that it's Justin. He hasn't shown up here since the night that he was so drunk that he cried in my arms till he passed out. I swing the door open with a smile on my face. "Hey you..Happy Birthday!"
He shyly smiles back at me. "Thanks..."
"Come in.. Have a seat." I pull the door open wider and he steps inside. "What brings you by?"
We walk over to the small living area that sits to the right of my bed. It consists of a small white sofa, eggplant colored chair and coffee table. He sits down in the chair and I on the couch."So I just wanted to see if you were coming to my party tonight."
I cock my head to the side with a little half smile and raise my eyebrow. "Do you really think I'd miss your birthday party J?"
He shrugs a shoulder and grins. "I hope not but you didn't come to dinner with us last night after the show. What was that all about huh?" He teases.
"Hey your boys are in town..You don't need me taggin along." I laugh
He shakes his head and sighs, still grinning. "You're crazy woman, as if I'd see things that way."
I look down then back up at him shyly. I can't help but smile when I look at his face. "I don't know J I mean you haven't seen them in a while and.." I trail off
"And what?" The tone in his voice is teasing and cute.
I kinda whine a little in a playful way. "I don't know."
"Mhmm..You're just afraid of not being able to resist all this swag..right?" He says running his hand across his chest and laughing.
"Oh my god shut up..You're such a dork!" I playfully roll my eyes and giggle. "I'm going shopping so why don't you get your swag ass movin out the door."
"Fine." He says dramatically then raises an eyebrow and smirks. I'm trailing behind him to the door when he stops and turns around. "Hey I almost forgot, before we hit the club tonight we are going to dinner."
"Oh okay cool..." I reach up and wrap my arms around his neck. He seems slightly stunned at first since I've been so adamant about how things should be between us but he quickly wraps his arms around my waist. My heart speeds up almost instantly. It feels like forever since I've been this close to him when it's actually only been about a week. I could hold onto him like this forever. "Happy Birthday Justin..." He buries his head in my hair and takes a deep breath then whispers in my ear. "Thanks B." Kissing me on the forehead before he pulls back slowly. I unwrap my arms from around his neck. "I'll see you later."
