A Day That Felt Like Home

The morning light filtered softly through the wide windows of Taehyung's home, warm and unhurried, as if the day itself had decided to take its time.

Inside, the atmosphere was anything but quiet.

Laughter echoed through the living room.

Voices overlapped.

And for the first time in what felt like days filled with events, emotions and confessions, everyone seemed to simply exist in the comfort of each other's presence.

It was a day of rest. A day after the wedding. A day where everything felt lighter.

"Namjoon hyung is definitely not surviving that honeymoon," Jimin said, leaning back against the sofa with a playful grin.

"Right," Yoongi replied lazily from the armchair, "he's probably more organized than all of us combined, even on his honeymoon."

Rosé, sitting nearby, chuckled softly. "Still, it's different when you're actually married."

Lisa nodded in agreement, smiling. "I think Jihyo will handle him well."

Jin, who was pouring himself a drink in the corner, added with a knowing smile, "Or he'll end up handling himself just to keep up."

A round of quiet laughter followed.

The conversation drifted naturally, each of them chiming in, teasing, joking, sharing small observations about the newly married couple who had already flown off for their honeymoon.

"Do you think they're awake right now?" Jungkook asked dramatically.

"Knowing Namjoon," Hoseok said, "he's probably reading something."

Jennie tilted her head. "On his honeymoon?"

Yoongi shrugged. "It's Namjoon."

That alone made everyone laugh again.

The evening settled softly over the house, wrapping everything in a quiet warmth that felt almost too gentle for the emotions it held.

Laughter echoed faintly from the living room. Voices overlapping, someone arguing playfully, someone else laughing a little too loud but out on the balcony, the world felt calmer.

Almost like time had decided to pause there.

Jisoo stood near the railing, her fingers lightly resting against the cool surface as she looked out at the fading sky. The sunset painted everything in shades of gold and soft pink, reflecting faintly in her eyes.

She didn't hear him at first. But she felt it. That quiet presence.

"Thinking something?"

Taehyung's voice was low, gentle yet familiar in a way that made her heart settle.

She turned slightly, a small smile forming without effort.

"A little," she admitted.

He stepped closer, stopping just beside her. Not too close. But not distant either.

Just enough for their shoulders to almost touch.

For a moment, neither spoke.

The silence between them wasn't awkward. It wasn't heavy. It was full.

"You've been quiet today," he said, glancing at her.

Jisoo looked down briefly, her fingers playing with the edge of her sleeve.
