The night felt heavier than before.

Not because it was darker, but because everything had finally come crashing down.

At the edge of confrontation, Yoongi didn't wait. He didn't think. He didn't hesitate.

By the time anyone realized he was gone, he was already standing in front of the one man responsible for everything unraveling.

Jennie's father.

The air between them was tense. Sharp. Dangerous.

"You went too far," Yoongi said, his voice low but filled with restrained anger.

Jennie's father looked at him calmly, as if he had expected this moment.

"I did what I had to do."

Yoongi scoffed. "Destroying lives is what you had to do?"

A pause.

Then...

"I didn't destroy anything," the man replied. "I revealed what was already broken."

Yoongi's jaw tightened.

"You think threatening someone...manipulating legal papers...breaking a marriage—"

"A marriage built on lies," he interrupted.

Silence. Heavy. Uncomfortable.

"After knowing the truth, I never wanted Taehyung for my daughter," he continued, his tone steady. "But I also didn't want him to walk away without facing consequences."

Yoongi frowned.

"What consequences?"

"For lying," he said simply. "For hiding a marriage. For letting my daughter love him without giving her the truth."

The words landed.

Not wrong, but not right either.

"And so you decided to ruin everyone instead?" Yoongi asked.

Before the man could answer...

"Dad."

Jennie's voice cut through the tension.

Both of them turned.

She stood there, not hesitant or confused, but firm. Clear.

"I don't love Taehyung anymore."

Silence.

Her father's expression shifted slightly.

"I know what he did was wrong," Jennie continued, her voice steady. "He should've told me the truth. He hurt me."

She took a small breath.

"But he never loved me."

That truth, finally spoken out loud, felt final.

"He loves Jisoo," she added softly.

Yoongi glanced at her.

"And I..." she hesitated just slightly, then looked directly at her father, "I love someone else."

A pause.

Then her hand moved slowly. Before gently finding Yoongi's. And holding it.

Yoongi didn't react immediately but his fingers curled around hers. Naturally. Like they had already made that choice long ago.

"I love him," she said.

Simple. Honest. Real.

Yoongi looked at her, and for the first time that night, his anger softened.
