Chapter 3

AN:  I'm so so so sorry for not updating this for what seems like forever. I use this website that will let me watch the movie for free and I use that to reference off of for my story if you haven't noticed and it's just been very bad and slow and keeps glitchy get for me and I will try to do better with updates but then again idk how it will go because I have school again.

"What are you up to?" I ask Tony as I was walking into his lab.

"I'm starting a new project." He stated. I leaned against the wall looking at the hologram.

"Is that a suit?" I ask him walking over to his side.

"Yes it is, and if you don't mind I'd like to keep this project on the down low."

"Okay." I told. "Why a suit though?" I ask him. He glanced at me.

"Is today 20 questions or something?" He asks. I lightly blush.

"Sorry." I mumbled. He smirked before pecking me on the cheek.

"I'm only teasing." I roll my eyes at him. "And to answer your question this suit here is what saved my life and helped me escape from being held captive." He told me.

"Wow." I whisper. "Leave it to Tony Stark to build something out of nothing." I say smirking.

"Yup." He said popping the 'p'.

I just stood by and watched a bit as he disposed some thing from the hologram and such.

"I'm going to go see Rhodey." He said kissing me on the lips and left.

Since I had nothing better to do and I had no work today I just chilled in me and Tony's room and watched movies all day. Well if we are being technical here im on a mission which is figure out how Tony escaped but I'm too lazy to call Fury at the moment.

I heard talking down stairs and got curious and walked down there. Pepper just left the room and I saw Obediah standing there with pizza. Oh no this can't be good.

"Hello Ana." Obediah said as I entered the room. I rolled my eyes.

"Obediah." I spat. He smirked. God he's such a creep.

"Why do you hate me so much?" He asked.

"Let's get one thing straight I don't trust you." I stated walking toward him. "And I know you had something to do with Tony being kidnapped." I growled. He glared at me and I smirked. He quickly grabbed me by my throat and pinned me to the wall. I clawed at his hands. I kneed him in the groin and he let me go. I pushed him to the side walking past him.
I heard Tony walking up the stairs. Obediah quickly got up.

"How'd it go?" Tony asked Obediah as he entered the room with Pepper following. Tony noticed the pizza. "That bad, huh?"

"Just because I brought pizza back from New York doesn't mean it was bad."

"Uh, huh sure. Oh boy." Tony said taking a slice of pizza.

"It would've gone a lot better if you were there."

"Uh, uh you told me to lay low, that's what I've been doing. I lay low and you take care of all-"

"Nuh uh, I take care of the public and press. This was a board of directors meeting" Obediah stated.

"This was a board of directors meeting?" Tony asked.

"The board is claiming post traumatic stress, they are filing an injunction."

"They what?"

"They want to lock you out." Obediah explained.

"Why 'cause the stocks dipped 40 points? We knew this was gonna happen." Tony stated.

"56 and a half." Pepper corrected.

"It doesn't matter. We own the controlling interest in the company."

"Tony, the board has rights too. Their making a case that you, your new direction is not in the company's  best interest." Obediah tried reasoning.

"I'm being responsible! That's a new direction. For me. For the company. I mean me on the company's behalf, being responsible for the way that...This is great." Tony said picking up the pizza box.

"Oh come on Tony, Tony!"

"I'll be in the shop." Tony said.

"Tony. Hey, hey!" Obediah walked over to Tony turning him to him. "Listen I'm trying to turn this thing around. You gotta give me something. Something to pitch them. Let me have to engineers analyze that." Pointing to the arc reactor. "You know, draw some specs."

"No. No absolutely not." Tony protested.

"It'll give me a bone to throw the boys in New York."

"This one stays with me. That's it Obie forget it."

"Alright this stays with me then." Obediah said taking the pizza box. "Come on, here you can take a piece. Take two."

"Thank you." Tony said taking two slices.

"You mind if I come down there to see what your doing?

"Goodnight Obie." Tony said going back down the stairs.
