Chapter 19

Thor

I woke up to hearing something break downstairs. Tony was still sound asleep next to me. I look at the time and it was 1 in the afternoon.

It's probably Pepper or Rhodey.

I stand up out of bed and walk downstairs. I didn't see anyone.

"Hello?" I called out. But I got no answer. I walk to a cabinet near by and grabbed a gun from it.

What can I say I'm stocked. I held up the gun as I walked around. As I was walking down the hall I heard footsteps behind me. I whip around and had the gun pointed at their face.

I froze in place.

The man in front of me smiled.

"I'm dreaming this isn't real." I stated shaking my head. His smile fell. He stepped closer to me.

"I am very real...my queen." He said. taking the gun away from me as my breathing was growing shaky. He set it down somewhere as tears welled up in my eyes.

My hand slowly reached up touching his cheek. He leaned into my touch. He placed his hand over mine.

"I-I can't believe it." I stuttered walking forward wrapping my arms tightly around him as the tears fell. He instantly reacted wrapping his arms around me.

"You have no idea how long I waited for this moment." He said as we pulled away slightly. He smiled at me and wiped my tears away.

"Loki..." I whispered.

"Hush darling." He says. "I came back for you." He told me. "Odin is sick and Thor is gone so I am now King of Asgard. I came to bring you home." He told me. I released a shaky breath. I step away from him and hurt filled his face.

"I'm sorry Loki but...this is my home now." I told him. His face turned angry.

"What with that man whore upstairs?" He asked. I clenched my fist

"He is not that way anymore." I stated jabbing my finger into his chest. "And I love him." I told him truthfully.

"So you do not feel for me anymore?" He asked, hurt in his voice. I opened my mouth to speak but I was cut off by Tony.

"Ana who is that?" Tony said coming from behind Loki. Loki turned and glared at Tony.

"Tony just go back upstairs." I said feeling the panic rise in me.

Loki grabbed my arm roughly. I yelped.

"Let her go" Tony yelled running over but Loki sent Tony flying back into a wall.

"Tony" I yelled as everything disappeared around me and I was now outside.

"Heimdall we're ready." Loki stated. I looked up at the sky as the familiar light shot down on us and the feeling of the ground beneath me disappearing and reappearing a few seconds later.

I gasp in surprise as I looked around the bifrost.

It's just how I remembered it.

"It's good to have you back Ana." Heimdall said. I smiled at him which he returned. I began walking forward towards the rainbow bridge which I've always admired.

"Can we see the gardens?" I asked excitedly. Loki chuckled.

"Of course but let's get you out of that." He said pointing to my tank top and leggings. I nodded as we got on the horses.

We ran down the bridge on the horses. I couldn't help but the laugh. I missed this, all too much.

I got off the horse and I just remembered about Tony.

"Loki why am I here? What happened to Thor?" I questioned him. He sighed.

"I will explain everything but not now. Let's get you cleaned up." He stated holding his hand out to me. I hesitantly took him and a small smile came on his face. He pulled me close as we walked down the all familiar halls of the palace.

And I couldn't help but smile a bit as I walked beside Loki down the halls.
