Chapter 43

Ana's POV

I woke up with a gasp. The first thing I noticed was that the pain has subsided. I looked beside me and glared at him.

"Hi." He said. I looked around me while breathing heavily.

"You think he's gonna help you?" I asked him before lightly snorting. "He won't." I told him. He stepped closer and I wanted to recoil back but I was restrained.

"Having you here is not just to motivate Tony Stark. It's um, Well it's actually more embarrassing than that." He chuckled as I looked at him disgusted. "You're here as my, um...trophy." He finished.

"And why is that." I asked as I laid my head back. He chuckled.

"Well...your a beautiful woman, Ana Coulson." he said caressing my cheek.

"Don't touch me." I spat. I looked behind him as I saw the Iron Patriot land.

"Rhodey?" I asked unsure.

"Good evening sir." Killian said. The suit opened up and the president fell out onto his knees.

"Oh my god." I muttered.

"Welcome aboard, Mr. President." Killian said mockingly saluting him.

I heard yelling and fighting from outside. I was completely isolated so I couldn't see what was happening. I felt the place shook as there was an explosion. I closed my eyes as the place shook again. Another explosion was heard then i was suddenly hurled to the side, smacking my head on the ground.

I felt immense pain course through me. I gasped from the pain as I felt part of the crumbled room on top of me.

"Stop" I gasped as I opened my eyes seeing two metal legs. "Put it down. Put it down. Put it down." I begged as the person did so.

The person squatted revealing Tony. His mask shifted revealing his face.

"See what happens when you hang out with my es-girlfriends." I inwardly groaned. Even in situation likes this he finds away to make comments. I clenched my eyes shut from the pain.

"Your an ass." I said.

"Yep. We'll talk about it over dinner." He stated reaching is hand out for me. I reached my arm out too but I couldn't reach him. A slight panic washed over me as I heard the metal creaking. "Come on a little more baby." He encouraged me as I tried to grab his hand. 

The tips of my fingers touched his armored ones but before I could get a grasp of him a hand reached out from the ground grabbing onto Tony's chest where the reactor is before pushing Tony back onto his back. 

Killian erupted from the ground his skin burned orange.

"Is this guy bothering you?" He asked me. I looked away. "Don't get up." I hear him say. I looked back over and Killian was hovering over Tony's chest. He placed a finger on Tony's chest."Ooh. Is it hot in there?" I heard the sizzling  of the metal. "Stuck? Do you feel a little stuck? Like a turtle-" I cut him off.

"Get the hell away from him" I yelled but my voice cracked.

Killian looks at me and back to Tony.

"She's watching. I think you should close your eyes. Close your eyes. Close your eyes." He repeated the last part. "You don't want to see this." Killian warned him. The burning orange light inside Killian traveled up to his face before raising his fist.A blade shot out of Tony's armor cutting Killian's hand clean off.

"Yeah, you take a minute." Tony says.

I watched the hand burn through the metal which caused the floor beneath me to collapse. I fell down a story landing on my ass before I knew it I was hanging halfway off of what I was on. I held on tightly to a metal beam when what I was on started moving. I was leaning up hugging the beam. i saw Tony trying to get over to me. I lost grip of the beam so I was still dangling. 

Tony leaped over so now he was below me.

"Ana, I got you. Relax I got you." He told me as I whimpered. His hand was reached out. While holding onto whatever i can reach I tried to stretch out to grab his hand but he was too far down for me to reach.

I let out a small short scream.

"I got you." He said. I groaned in pain as the thing shook.

"Honey, I can't reach any further and you can't stay there. All right? You've got to let go." He yelled over the commotion. My eyes were already glazed over and so was his. "You've got to let go. I'll catch you, I promise."

I felt my self slip then i was falling. I yelled out as i slipped through Tony's fingers.

"No" I could hear Tony yell as I felt myself falling into the fiery light of fire.
