Chapter 16

"Okay maybe I was wrong." I said as Happy was speeding down the race track to where Tony was to give him his suit.

"You think?" Pepper exclaimed. Pepper and I were in the back of the car. "Give me the case." Pepper tells Happy.

"Here. Take it." Happy says putting it in the back of the car with us.

"Where's the key?" I asked.

"It's in my pocket." Happy said.

"Car!" Pepper yelled as Happy swerved missing it.  I began laughing. Pepper gave me a look of disbelief. "I'm so glad you find this so funny." I shook my head.

"Sorry." I said. Brought up some good memories. "There they are." I said pointing over to where Tony and that other guy. Happy sped forward hitting into the guy as Tony was on the fence.

"Are you okay?" Happy asked Tony as he hopped off the fence.

"Yeah. Were you heading for me or him?" Tony asked.

"I was trying to scare him." Happy exclaimed. Yeah to death.

"'Cause I can't tell!" Tony stated loudly.

"Are you out of your mind?" Pepper yelled in hysterics.

"Better security." Tony said.

"Get in the car right now!!!" Pepper yelled. I sighed rubbing my temples.

"I was attacked We need better security."

"Tony get in the god damn car!" I yelled over Pepper.

"You're CEO. Better security measures." Tony said walking to the other side of the car where I'm at. "God it's embarrassing." I hear Tony say coming around. He opens the door for it to get split in half. Pepper screams seeing the man alive. Happy backs up and hits him again.

Oh all father.

"Hit him again. Hit him again." Tony said. And Happy kept on doing that.

"Give me the case." Tony kept saying to Pepper but she was still freaking out. The guy with those electric whips hit the car straight down the middle. Tony ended up on Pepper's side. I grabbed the case from Pepper and threw it to him.

After the suit was on he pushed the car a few feet away and him and the electric whips guy started fighting.

Long story short Tony ripped the reactor from the guys chest piece and he was arrested.

I sat in the jet watching the news.

"Mute." I hear Tony said walking over carrying something in his hand. "He should be giving me a medal. That's the truth." Tony said setting it down and sitting down in front of me.

"What is that?" I ask him.

"This is your in-flight meal." Tony said taking the cover off revealing a spinach, mushroom omelet.

"Ooh it's been awhile since I had any of your cooking." I said.

"I know. Where'd you think I was for the past 3 hours." I laughed softly. I sighed.

"Tony what aren't you telling me?" He looks at me.

"I don't want to go home. At all." He tells me. "Let's cancel my birthday party and uh...We're in Europe. Let's go to Venice, Cipriani. Remember?" A smile twitched on my face.

"Oh, yes. "

"It's a great place to be healthy." He said.

"I don't think this is the right time. You and Pepper are kind of in a mess with everything that happened in Monaco."

"Yeah, but maybe that's why it's the best time." Tony protested. I shook my head.

"Pepper is gonna have a lot to deal with considering she's CEO." I told him giving him an apologetic smile.

A few days later was Tony's party.
