Chapter 35

I woke up to the sound of people talking. My eyes adjusted to the lights, turning my head I looked over to see Tony and Steve.

"Hey your awake!" Tony said coming to my side. He sat on the edge of my bed. "Ya know you gave everyone a scare."

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"Loki is captured once more. Today I am returning to Asgard with him." Thor spoke up. "I'm sorry but I can't bring you back with me." He told me sadly. I weakly smile at him.

"I think I'll be okay here." I said glancing over at Tony who grinned.

"Yeah don't worry about her big guy, I'll take care of her."

"Very well, but if you harm her in any way I won't hesitate to kill you." Tony stood up,

"Yup glad we had this talk."

"Um Thor? May I have a moment alone with him?" Thor nodded before walking out. Tony stood there doing his snap and clap thing.

"So..." He trailed off.

I pushed the hospital sheets off and swung my legs over the edge.

"Woah hey, you really think that's a good idea?" He asks as I stood. I felt weak for a moment. Tony helped held me up until I was able to stand on my own.

"Tony." I said.

"You should really lay down." He said urging me to at least sit. I grabbed his face with my hands and smashed my lips onto his. He didn't hesitate to kiss me back.

"God you have no idea how much I missed that." He said. I hugged him.

"I love you Tony." I mumbled into his shirt.

"I love you too." He told me.

"So when can I leave?" I asked him. He lightly chuckled kissing me on the forehead.

"Now actually if you want." I nodded eagerly. He went over to the table and threw me some clothes which I easily caught. I made Tony leave the room, much to his protest so I can get changed.

It was kind of hard with the stitches in my back and stomach.

I walked out of the room and pulled my hair into a pony tail.

"You ready?" Tony asked me. I nodded and left the hospital with him.

We exited the car with the other Avengers in Central Park to see Thor and Loki go off. I saw a muzzle on Loki and found it pretty amusing. I saw Loki looking at me. Tony saw that too and glared at him before blocking Loki's view of me. I rolled my eyes but smiled.

They put the cube in a container type thing. Loki and Thor grabbed a hold of each end before they both went up into the air.

I walked back to Tony's car. I got into the passenger's side while he got in driver's. He leaned over and kissed me on the cheek before smirking and driving off.
