Chapter 24

"Where is the tesseract?" Thor questioned Loki. Loki chuckles as I glare at him.

"Oh. I've missed you too." He said.

"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor asked.

"Oh you should thank me." Loki responded lifting his head up looking at Thor then to me. "With the bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the all father had to muster to conjure the both of you here?" He began sitting up. "Your precious Earth." Loki said in disgust as he began to stand. Thor dropped his hammer and forced Loki to stand and face him.

"I thought you dead." Thor stated.

"Did you mourn?" Loki asked.

"We all did." I spoke.

"Our father-" Thor began but was cut off by Loki.

"Your father." He corrected as Thor released him.

"He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?" Loki asked as he walked away.

"We were raised together, we played together, fought together. Do you remember all of that?" Thor questioned Loki. I look at Loki sadly. He is so clouded by all of this built up rage that he's acting out. He's acting this way because he is hurt.

"I remember a shadow. Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss, almost doing the same to Ana. I was and should be king."

"So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagine slights? No. The Earth is under my protection Loki." Thor stated stomping over to him. Loki laughed.

"And you've done a marvelous with that. The humans slaughter each other everyday while you idly fret."

Loki did have a point there. But it's not Tor's fault he couldn't do anything to help.

"I mean to rule them." Loki stated loudly. "That's why-"

"You think yourself above them?" Thor asked Loki.

"Well yes." Loki answered.

"You miss the truth of ruling brother. Throne would treat you ill." Loki shoved past Thor and back up the  hill as I idly watched on the side

"I've seen worlds you've never known about" Loki shouted. "I have grown." Loki turned to Thor. "Odinson." He sneered. "In my exile. I've seen the true power of the tesseract. And when I wield it."

"Who showed you this power? Who controls the would be king?"

"I am a king." Loki yelled. Thor roughly grabs Loki's shoulders.

"Not here" Thor shouted. "You give up the tesseract. You give up this pointless dream." Thor said shaking Loki as if to knock sense into him. "Come home." Thor said almost pleadingly. I noticed the tears in both Thor and Loki's eyes that were left unshed. Thor angrily let go and took a few steps holding out his hand as his hammer flew into it.

"I do not know where the tesseract is for I have sent it off, I do not know where." Loki told us.

"You listen well brother I-" Thor was cut off as he went off.

Oh no Tony

"I'm listening." Loki said sarcastically. I groaned throwing my head back. Loki smirked at me.
