I spin around, my amp cord attempting to wrap around my legs but I jump just in time. My fingers dance across the frets on my guitar. My headphones pump Pierce The Veil's King for a day into my ears. Their loud enough so I can hear over my guitar.

So far this summer, I've been in the music room learning as many songs as I can. I play loud, you could probably hear me through out the house, maybe even the next house. I smile at the thought of that. I spun around just as Kenny had taught me on tour, playing along to the song. When ever I do this, I get sucked into a world of music. I quite like it there. But then I started to hear a muffled voice. I turn to the door as I play and find Brendon standing. He's motioning to his hears and yelling muffled works. I stop playing and tug out my earphones.

"God, we need to sound proof this room." He said, leaning against the doorframe. "Anyways, your friends are here." He said, pushing off the frame and walking away. I unplug my guitar and swing it off, hanging it on the wall next to Brendon's guitars. I then switch off the amp and walk out of the music room. I run down the stairs and into the living room to find my two best friends standing, Karen and Charlie. They notice me and smile. "Hey guys, nice go see you." I say walking over and hugging them. "My room?" I asked, they nodded and we all started to walk upstairs. Once we made it to my room I went and sat at my desk while Charlie sat on my bed and Karen laid on the floor on her stomach. I spun my chair around to face them.

"So, how's summer been for you guys?" Karen asked, her legs kicking in the air. Charlie lets out a 'meh'. I spin in my chair. "Same." She rolls over so she was laying her back. "Am I the only one whose summer sucks so far, like literally I've done nothing." She says. I let out a sigh.

"Then we should do something." I say, spinning around. There was a moment of silence. Then all of the sudden, Charlie sits up quickly.

"Why don't we go to the mall! It's not that far from here. We have bikes." He says, sporting a smile.

"Correction, you guys have bikes." I say, stopping my spinning chair. Karen looks at me.

"Dude, your dads a millionaire, how do you not have a bike?" She says, knitting her eyebrows together. Charlie chuckles.

"I don't know, I just don't have a bike." I say, running my hand through my hair.

"Do you have a skateboard or anything?" Charlie asks, I shrug.

"We can go check." I say getting up from my chair and grab my converse. Charlie gets up too, Karen stays on the floor. She gives him a pouty look.

"Help?" She said in a small voice. She stuck her hands up in the air. Charlie sighs and pulls her up. She stumbles up. After I slip on my converse, we walk down the hall and down the stairs. Brendon's sitting on the couch watching tv. He looks over at us.

"What are you kids up to?" He asks.

"We're going to the mall." I say walking over to the hangers on the door and getting my purse.

"Ok be safe. If the press try's to get stuff out of you about the album, don't spill anything." He said, looking at me sternly. "The only thing they should know about is Hallelujah." I sigh.

"I know." I say in a lazy voice. "Love you." I say as we slip into the garage. I hear a faint 'I love you too' as I switch on the light. "Start looking for something for me to ride." I say, looking around as well. I'm surprised he doesn't have bikes, he said he used to bike all the time. In then end, we ended up finding a skateboard luckily. I open the garage door and we start our ride to the mall. Is we traveled down the sidewalk, we had conversations. They both slowly ride next to me.

"You know?" Karen asks. I look over at her for a moment. "I sometimes forget that your famous." She says, I snort.

"I'm not famous." I say chuckling softly. Charlie joins the conversation.

"Says the girl who's in a famous band and has been on TV and in alternative press multiple times." He said as we stop at a crosswalk. He presses the button multiple times.

"I was in AP once, once." I say holding up a finger.

"And Kerrang." Karen adds giggling. I sigh.

"Let's not forget about the time your cover was on MTV." She adds. When it was safe, we all rode across the crosswalk.

"I'm not famous." I say. They both laugh.

"Whatever you say." Charlie says before they both speed up.

"Hey! Wait up." I say, trying to speed up.

It took us about 10 minutes to get there but it was worth it. The mall wasn't that busy as we thought I would be. Of course being the little emos that we are, we immediately headed to hot topic. It's great having. Two best friends who like the same music. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with an employee.

"Hello, is there anything you guys need help with?" She says smiling. She was wearing a Doctor Who shirt. We said no and started looking around. We walked over to one of the tee shirt walls. Karen snickers and points at one of the shirts. It had Brendon, Kenny, and Dallon on it.

"Looks like their missing someone." She said. I punch her arm.

"Oh shut up, I probably wasn't in the band at the time." She still snickers. We ended up buying a few shirts. I bought a SWS shirt and an MCR shirt. We then headed to the food court to get some food. Once we all decided on Panda Express, we took our tray and sat in the not so busy food court. We all opened up out food and started eating.

"So" Charlie says. "How's the new album?" He swallows his food and looks at me. Karen also looks at me.

"Great so far. I'm not recording on it that much because Brendon has to have to album exactly how he wants it. If I play to slow, he freaks out or if a change a chord." I widen my eyes. Brendon's scary when he's in music mode, never get in his way.

"Anything you can," Karen pauses for a moment and looks around before leaning forward. "You know, leak for your best friends." I sigh and poke at a piece of orange chicken. "Oh come on, please?" She begs. I look up at her.

"For all I know, there could be some someone watching us just waiting for me to talk about it. Brendon says not to because they think I'm a weak point." I take a bite. "They think they can get info from me." I swallow. "God, the the music business is hard." They both look down.

"Please?" Charlie said with pouty eyes. I sigh and poke at my food for a minutes. I finally crash my fork down on the table.

"Ok fine! When we get back." I pick up my fork and start to eat again as they both excitedly ramble. I sit there thinking about which song I should show them.
