"And bring me coffee next time!" I shout at Ryan before laughing and shutting the door. I take the money he gave me and ran upstairs. I pull the shoe box that I kept under my bed and put the money he paid me in it. Then, my phone buzzes. I of course pick it up.

"Hello?" I question the caller.

"Hey, are you good with kids?" It was Charlie, he sounded pretty stressed. I sigh and pick at my fingernails.

"Why?" I ask. There was a crash in the background and then a child's cry. "Agh, I'll be right over." I say, grabbing my sunglasses and my bag. I tie my hair back so I wouldn't get recognized. I put on my sunglasses and grab Brendon's old skateboard from the coat closet. Then, I was off. After about ten minutes, I had made to to his house. I knock on the door.

"It's open!" He he shouts and I open the door. To find him running after a small child's, wearing an apron. I almost laugh at the sight. Once he catches the child, I notice that he's holding them incorrectly. I walk over and get close to him, scooping the toddler out of his hands. Judging by the hair in little pigtails and the lacy little dress, I'm guessing she's a girl.

As I step away from him, I speak my observation. "You were holding her wrong." I say, pressing the child's face to my collar. She instantly quiets down. He stands there a little surprised. "Whose kid is this?" I ask, bumping her up and down. He stands there still, staring at me.

"Oh, uh my sisters." He says, snapping out of whatever had gotten into him. "She's visiting but she's out with my parents right now." He says, batting the flower off the apron he was wearing. I giggle. "What?" He questions, confuse on why I found it funny.

"I'm sorry but you're wearing an apron." I say, covering my mouth and giggling.

"Agh, whatever." He says, taking it off and throwing it at me. I dodge it and follow him into the kitchen.

"So who is this little princess?" I ask, smiling at the toddler.

"Her names Bella and she's a pain in the ass." He says, wiping the counter off with a paper towel. I gasp and cover her ears.

"Charlie! Never swear around a baby." I say, I would know. One of the first foster homes I stayed in had two babies. I was always very good with them. He groans and looks at me.

"She's like two, I don't think she really understands what's going on." He says.

"Some studies say otherwise my friend." I say, looking down at the toddler. Charlie groans and stomps into the kitchen.

"Whatever. Put her in her play pen and come help me cook her dinner." He says from the kitchen.

"Fine." I say, walking into the kitchen. "What are you making her?" I ask. He starts grabbing things out of cabinets.

"I don't know, pancakes?" I pick up the pancake mix box and look at him.

"Charlie, please never become a parent." I say. He chuckles softly and grabs some bowls. After reading the instructions, I get to work and start mixing the dry ingredients. Charlie walks over with a cup of water. He's about to pour it in but I freak out. "No no no. You, out of the kitchen right now." I say, giggling a little. He sighs and does as I say. He sits down on one of the bar stool at his counter.

"So how the album coming along?" He asks me. I sigh and continue mixing things.

"Let's just say, it's not coming out next month." I stop stirring and look at him. "The label estimated a release date, we only have six songs tracked and Brendon's in lala land with Angie."

"So you guys aren't releasing it this summer?" I shake my head.

"All because of Angie, she's ruining everything." I say, mixing the wet ingredients into the dry ones. "Luckily, Ryan's helping me get rid of her."
