ONE MONTH LATER•

"Alright, I'll be back around ten. Angie wants to go out." Brendon says, grabbing his keys. I sit at the counter scrolling through my Twitter feed, replying to some fans tweets.

"Ok, if you guys go out to dinner, bring me left overs." I say as he walks by, pressing a kiss on my cheek. He then opens the front door.

"Okay, you know the rules. Love you." He then shut the door. I pause and wait until I hear the car leave the drive way. A smirk crawls on to my face. I click into my contacts and click on Ryan's contact. I press the call button and hop down from the chair. I stroll around the living room, waiting for Ryan to pick up.

"Hey, what up?" He asks. I look at the awards on the mantle, mine stands tall around Brendon's.

"Brendon's gone until ten, the studios all yours." I say, plopping down on the white couch.

"Cool, I'll be over in five." He says before hanging up. You see over the last month, when we weren't playing shows or doing interviews, Brendon has been clinging onto Angie like a tick to a dog. This has impacted the new album majorly. We are supposed to be done with in by October but with the pace we've been working at, it probably won't be out until next year.

We've had to cancel recording sessions just so Brendon could hang out with Angie. I think that he thinks Angie is more important than the band. I mean we only have six songs barely recorded and only one music video planned out, it's a train wreak. But this whole thing does have a bright side.

Over the last month, Ryan has been over a lot and no ones found out. We also have had some time to bond, he's not a bad guy. I wonder why Brendon gets mad when I mention him. My train of thoughts was interrupted by the door bell. I get off the couch and walk to the door. I open it and in walks Ryan.

"I come to deliver coffee." He says, handing me a Starbucks cup. "And seventy dollars from the last two times I used the studios. He hands me the money.

"Thank you and thank you." I smell the coffee, it's a vanilla frappé. I stuff the money into the pocket of my black jeans and take a sip of my coffee. We walk over to the counter and he leans against it, taking a sip of coffee from his cup.

"So I was thinking. Since Brendon has been going out so much, I should have the album done by August." He says. I nod while taking a sip.

"Next month? That's funny." I say, chuckling. He gives me a confused look.

"Why is it funny?" He asks, tilting his head slightly.

"Well, you are almost done with your album. Panic has been working on ours a lot longer and we are only six songs in, and those six songs aren't even fully recorded yet. Some still need lead guitar and back up vocals." I sigh and spin my cup around the granite countertop. "The bands kind of a mess right now." Ryan crosses his arms over his chest.

"Trust me Hun, I knew what you're feeling." He says, giving me a symposium smile. "Someone in the band gets involved with a girl, in this case Brendon falls in love. The girl gets in the way of everything. The band all start to hate the girl and the girl feels like she needs that person even more." He then picks up his coffee and takes a sip. "It must be hard for you to be in a band like this so young."

"Ah but it's so annoying! She's so annoying!" I say annoyed. "We can't get anything done with her around! All she does is get in the way and ruin things. And oh my god Ryan you should hear the things she says to me. She purposely try's to make me feel bad." I rant, knowing that he was listening.

"If she's being mean to you Syd, start a journal of the stuff she says to you. Trust me, it will come in handy later on." He says, I sigh and look down. "Oh hun trust me, it will get better. This happened with Jon once." He says, pulling me into a hug. "The whole band hated him for a while." I hug back and close my eyes, I'm so done with Angie.

He pulls away and puts hands on my shoulders. "I have to go work on some tracks now, don't let her bring you down." He says, adding on that last part. I nod and watch him as he heads out the back door, bogart and penny trailing behind him. I grab my coffee and walk upstairs. I turn and go into my room to put my money away.

I pull out the shoe box I was keeping all my Ryan money in and add the seventy dollars to the box. I'm about to sit down on my bed but the doorbell interrupts me. I groan and leave my door, running down the stairs and to the door. I swing it open to find Charlie standing there looking angry and annoyed. I eyes grow wide.

"I am so done with my dad!" He says, walking in and facing me. I look nervously towards the backdoor. "Doesn't he not get the fact that I want to do music, not engineering?" He asks me. My mouth opens slightly. Before I could say anything he answers for me. "No he doesn't! My mom gets that I want to do music but does he? No." He says, sighing.

"Charlie-" I start but he cuts me off.

"He's always saying that I can't go to college with music! But I can!" He says, slapping his hands to his aides and rolling his eyes.

"Charlie you-" I start but I'm cut off once again.

"I need some water." He says walking into my kitchen and grabbing a class from the cabinet.

"Charlie you really-" he cuts me off again.

"I swear to god," He says while filling up his cup. "I'll show him one day! I'll join a band and tour the world like you!" He finally shuts up and starts drinking the water. I put my hands on his shoulders and look him in the eyes.

"Charlie! You really can't be here right now!" I say. He sets down his cup and looks at me funny.

"Why?" He says. Shoot, I need an excuse.

"Because... I'm not allowed go have people over when Brendon's gone." He crosses his arms and looks down at me confused.

"Sydney, I always come over when Brendon's gone." He walks a little closed to me. "What's going on, are you okay?" I look up at him, no knowing what to say. "Charlie-" I start but the noise of the back door opening cuts me off. I squeeze my eyes shit, this isn't happening.

"Hey Syd, I'll be right back. I forgot my computer in...my." His words slow and so does his walking. I open my eyes to find Charlie staring at Ryan with wide eyes and a wide mouth. I spin around to see Ryan staring at Charlie, with they same expression. I suddenly feel Charlie's arm loop around my waist and gently pull me closer to him.

"Holy shit..." He says, staring at Ryan who stood their like a statue. This can't be happening. I put my hands over my face and groan.
