Wait, girlfriend?! There sitting in the pool chair was a woman. She stood up and I looked a me. "Hi I'm Angie." She said in a too happy voice. God, does she think I'm five. "You must be Sydney. I've heard soooo much about you!" She said leaning down, her too blonde hair covering her cleavage. I cringe.
"It's nice to meet you." I say, faking a smile. She shakes my hand and goes back, looking at Brendon who was happily smiling. "Um Brendon, can I talk to you for a minute." I say, still wearing my fake smile.
"Yeah what's up?" He says still smiling. I look at Angie.
"Alone." I say quietly, his smile fades a little and he nods. I grab his hand and pull him into the house, weaving through the house. Once we make it up the stairs, I drag him into the music room and shut the door behind us. I sigh and turn around. He leans against the desk. "Girlfriend?!" I whisper shout. He sets his drink down and looks at me.
"Yes, girlfriend." He says. Since the room is big, I move towards him a little.
"How long have you guys been a thing?" I ask, crossing my arms. He looks down. I feel like a mom scolding their child. He mumbles something. "What?"
"Two months." He says, looking up but not at me.
"Two months?! Why didn't I know about this? Why didn't you tell me!" I say loudly. He looks down at me.
"I...I don't know! It just slipped my mind." He says. My eyes get wider.
"For two months? It slipped your mind for two months." He pushes off the desk and walks forward a little.
"Listen, lets drop it. So I didn't tell you I was dating someone, not a big deal! Calm down!" He says, also with wide eyes. "Ok. Now anyways, do you like her?" He asks. I put one hand on my hip.
"Well I don't really know her so..." I start, he stops me.
"Why don't you two go to the mall tomorrow, get to know each other." He said, grabbing his drink.
"But Brend-" I started.
"Okay sounds like a plan, gotta blast." He said, opening the door and leaving.
"You can't just waltz out of arguments like that!" I yell.
"Watch me!" He yelled back. I groan and cover my face with my hands as I hear him running down the stairs. I wait a little before going downstairs again. I scan the room for him, nope he's probably outside with Angie.
I make my way to the kitchen to get food because I'm hungry. Once I'm there I open the fridge to start my search for a probably not so heathy snack. Suddenly, a voice makes me jump. "You must be Sydney." I close the fridge and turn around to find a woman. She's leaning against the counter. "Oh I'm sorry! Did I scare you?" Said the mystery woman. I smile.
"No it's fine really, and yeah I'm Sydney." I open the fridge again and grab a Pepsi. I then walk over to her and lean against the counter. "Who are you?" I ask, opening my soda.
"I'm Sarah." She said, brushing back her brown blonde hair. We shake hands, I look at my soda.
"You look kinda down, what's up?" She asks. I sigh.
"It's nothing really." I say, faking a smile once again.
"Oh come on, I know there's something." She says, looking me in the eyes.
"Ok fine. So Brendon has had a girlfriend for the past two months and he never told me. I just met her like a few minutes ago and I already hate her. I mean she's fake, annoying, and- wait, why am I telling you all this?" I ask. She smiles.
"I'm good at getting things out of people." She says. "Anyways, so he just now told you he was dating Angie?" She says quietly so people wouldn't hear. I nod.
"Wait, how do you know who she is." I ask.
"One thing, Brendon and I are close friends. Another thing, unfortunately we share an apartment. I don't have enough money to move out so, I'm stuck with the Barbie doll." She says, rolling her eyes.
"Oh, haha Barbie doll." I laugh at her word choice. She laughs too.
"What? It's true." She says through her laughter. Why can't Brendon be dating this woman, Sarah. She's pretty, nice, hilarious, and sweet. Why'd he go after a Barbie doll. Our laughing was stopped by Brendon who walked I into the kitchen.
"Oh, there you are." He then looked at Sarah. "I see you've met Sarah." He said smiling. "What were you guys laughing about?" He asked. Angie walked behind him and put her arm around his waist. Sarah and I look at eachother and try to hold in our laughs. Brendon kinda just looks at us like we're crazy.
"It's nothing Bren, don't worry about it." She says as our laughs die down. You should have seen Angie's face when Sarah said Bren, jealousy. I hoped in my laughter and look at Brendon.
"Well, I was just checking on you." he said before walking away with Angie. I turn to Sarah who was also holding in laughter. We both burst into laughter. "Her face, oh my god her face!" I say through laughter.
"Oh my god it was like." She stopped laughing and reenacted Angie's face. She glared at me. I laugh even harder, she started to laugh again too. God, this woman is amazing.

A/N. Hey guys! Sorry, this kinda felt like a filler chapter. Also sorry, it's a shorter chapter. I've been really busy lightly. Plus my sister heads off to college tomorrow so we've been spending as much time together as possible. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be writing this. When I was 9, she forced me to listen to MCR, P!ATD, and FOB. Just last week, I told her I wrote fanfic. She found it really cool. As it turns out, she has been writing a reaaaallyy long one with her best friend for 5 years. Well anyways, sorry about the long authors note. Oxoxo
