I haven't kept in contact with my dad. I only saw him twice after he left my family. The first Christmas I remembered when I was seven years old he came to give us presents. He didn't really pay enough attention to me like he did to Lisa. He barely spoke to mom. I could tell they had problems that weren't going to be solved any time soon. The second time was at Thanksgiving and my mom said something that pissed him off. He started cussing and slamming his fist on the table. He yelled at my mom that he will choke her out if she ever said that again. My mom told him to leave or she will call the police. He left without saying goodbye and that's the last time I ever saw or heard from him. I think that's where Lisa got her craziness from.

Marshall closed Marie's diary and slammed her hand on her desk.

"Why can't I figure this out?"She ran her fingers through her hair.

"Maybe because you're too stressed,"Youth appeared at her door.

"Oh I didn't know you were still here,"she looked up startled.

"Yeah well I have no life remember,"he joked.

"I'll be out in a second,"she nodded her head.

"You better. You need to rest,"he leaned against the door.

"I'll rest when this case is closed,"she put on her coat."I just remembered, there's a torn page out of her diary. I saw it while I was reading it. At the back of the book. We need to find that missing page. It's probably somewhere in her room."

"Seriously Kay you need to relax,"he changed his tone.

"Brian I'm fine,"she assured him.

"Yeah you said that last time and got suspended from a case,"he reminded her.

She grabbed her bag and followed him out of her office.

"I just hate the fact that we are back to where we started. What are we missing?"she continued to talk about the case.

"A night out is what we're missing,"he chuckled.

"This is no time for jokes,"she scoffed.

"Fine. If you want to get somewhere then check out her dad,"he said in a serious tone.

Justin caressed Lisa's body as they talked about how college would be like. How Lisa got into college is still a mystery with her bad history.

"So I hear your dad is back,"Justin changed the subject.

"Yeah he is,"Lisa said, a gulp formed in her throat.

"How is he doing?"he asked interested.

"He's okay. I mean we are all shaken up still but we're getting through it."

"How is it like seeing him again?"

"It's awkward,"she lied."But I think he changed. He had this temper where he will break anything in his way. I remember he smashed this guy car with a metal bat."

"That's crazy,"he frowned.

"Well we're all crazy,"she looked at the floor."My whole family is. Just my dad is the worst."
