*Yale’s POV*

“Get up.

Mamaya kasi kahit na we’re from the same school, we still have to undergo everything individually.

8pm

“I have the honor to present to you the models of the National Academy of Cydia. Ms. Lexie Yel Marjorie Fernandez, Mr. Geoff Michael Glamoroso, Ms. Sisiri Fatima Moncado and Mr. Tristan Van Tan.”

“From the Liberty State University, we have Ms. Camille Valdez, Mr. Geremiah Yu, Ms. Alexis Lea Franchescha Lumabao, and Mr. Bill Chance.”

“From the Hulston Academy are Ms. Joanna Princess Dela Cruz, Mr. Jonathan Jhon Ramos, Ms. April Marie Venenzela and Mr. Xander Von Chiu.”

“And last but not the least, Ms. Leila Marie Fiance, Mr. Jonathan Mikel Chan, Ms. Yale Salvacion and Mr. Louie Ludwig Arrelano.”

Yung mga girls, naka-long gown lang. While the boys wear Filipino-style coat. Yung iba, nakabarong. Walang slim wear or bikini. Mapapasubo ako dun. Then after nun, we’ll wear a school-inspired costumes for the girls. While the male models, including JM and Louie, are both topless tsaka pants na galing din sa Trinity bilang pambaba.

Nakikita kong naghihiyawan yung mga tao. Cheer dito. cheer doon. Sige todo pacute naman ako. Duh,sige lang ngiti lang, kahit napilipilitan. Haha.

Nag-talent portion na kami, then question and answer portion na lang. And the moment of truth..

“Let’s us give a round of applause to Ms. Yale Salvacion of the Trinity Academy. Please pick up one.”

Yun ata yung questions.

“Your question is… do you believe in a happy-ever-after ending?”

Ano daw? Grabe hindi ako prepared dito ha. Wait. Sigh sigh… Do I believe in a happy-ever-after ending? E ano? Hindi ata. I and Fred didn’t end up happy. We both made mistakes.

But, when I saw Lyndsay smiling at me. I grinned and start answering..

“Happy ever after ending? Yes. But let’s accept that Life is not a fairy tale. It never was. To be happy is being satisfied of what you have, being contented of what God has given you. It is a story of how we fight for our feelings, how we accept mistakes, how we make difficult decisions, and facing the consequences. How we say sorry and forgive the mistakes of others. Life isn’t a fairy tale. It never was. If we want to be happy, the choice is ours. They say, it’s not what you get. It’s how you get it. Thank you.”

“Thank you Ms. Salvacion.” I smiled at him.

Announcement of Winners.

“Let’s start from the minor awards…”
