Most people would describe Giorno Giovanna as a good person. Though he's the head of the prestigious Passione mafia syndicate, he's really not that bad. Everyone close to him would tell you that he's a real kind-hearted young man. He knew how to rule with an iron fist, but only when necessary. Otherwise, Giorno was a boy with a good head on his shoulders and a strong sense of justice.

...Or something like that.

Truthfully, Giorno was beginning to doubt he was all that good. His heart had been in the right place when he assumed the position of Don Giovanna; Giorno had wanted to rid the country of its drug problem and had unknowingly uncovered a far more sinister plot in the works. Trish promises she holds no resentment towards Giorno for his part in killing her father, but he worries now and then. He's especially worried because there's not an ounce of him that truly feels bad about any of it.

Then, there's you. How would you describe Giorno - your boyfriend?

Giorno's first few months as Don had been hellish; a 15-year-old boy really had no business being the head of one of Italy's most powerful mafias. When he felt overwhelmed, he'd sneak away from it all into the city. There were subordinates unhappy with his actions, sure, but Giorno knew he was strong enough to protect himself from any threats that may come his way. Every underling without stand abilities didn't trust that Giorno was as strong as he claimed, but that didn't exactly bother him. He had been itching for a chance to prove them wrong.

That chance came unexpectedly when Giorno met you. A truly horrible situation brought the two of you together. A man had you cornered in an alleyway, his intentions anything but pure. Giorno has been on a walk and happened to pass by. Truthfully, this was none of his business, but Giorno had never been one to ignore those in need.

When the man had gone flying down the alley before your very eyes, you were stunned. You had no clue how that was even humanly possible; you couldn't know that it absolutely wasn't. You didn't have a stand. You hadn't been able to see Golden Experience Requiem manifest and send the man flying with its fist. All you knew was that the creep was gone. All you knew was that a handsome, young man had moved in to ask if you were alright.

Giorno's actions had been enough to prove himself to a load of subordinates. Unknowingly, the man he had taken out was an individual of decently high rank in a rival mafia. There had been a small retaliation from said gang, but again, Giorno's strength had easily put a stop to that. Unintentionally, he had won the respect of all those who doubted him.

At the same time, Giorno had ingratiated himself with you. It wasn't his intention to pursue you when he decided to step in. Your relationship ended up progressing rather smoothly after you insisted you would treat him to a meal and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Was it the adrenaline that had drawn you to him? Was it the forced proximity? Giorno always wondered. He wondered if you still would have liked him, still would have given him a chance if he hadn't saved you that day. He wondered if you ever would have met otherwise. He wondered if he would have approached you, wondered if you would have approached him.

Those questions were pointless and futile, truly. It was useless to dwell on the past when he was presently laying in his bed with you curled up beside him. You sleep so peacefully next to him, so blissfully unaware of the monster he truly is. You know he's involved with the mafia, but you don't know the full extent. You don't know that he's the Don, and you don't know that he possesses a stand so powerful it could eliminate all enemies for the rest of time.
