As one of Dio's children, you were remarkably surprised at how welcome you felt in Morioh, surrounded by the relatives of those your father sought to destroy. In fact, one of your closest friends was Josuke Higashikata, whose father had fought against yours. Despite your past, neither Josuke nor his relatives held any sort of grudge against you. After all, those were your fathers mistakes, not yours.

However, there was one person in town that seemed to hate you. While you had ingratiated yourself with Josuke and Koichi, Josuke's friend Okuyasu seemed to despise the very ground you walked on. Whenever you would walk into a room, Okuyasu would leave soon after. If the situation was inescapable, he would simply act like you weren't there.

You understood why he was mad. After all, after doing some shady business with your father, his father had been cursed. You know the curse put quite the strain on him, especially considering his older brothers obsession with getting rid of his cursed father had ultimately brought about his demise. You just wished that one day he would be able to see past that.

It was especially difficult because despite his cold exterior, you had begun to develop feelings for Okuyasu. From what you were able to observe when he was with his friends, he was hilarious and fun. He was also hilariously and hopelessly dumb, but that only added to his charm.

One day, you sat with Koichi in Josuke's house, idly joking about Josuke's poor video game skills. Josuke grumbled from his position on the floor as he did his best to beat the video game level. Suddenly, the sound of the front door opening alerted you all. Josuke remained focused on the game while you and Koichi turned your attention towards the hallway that connected the room you were in to the front door.

"Hey hey, Ms. Higashikata," you heard Okuyasu chime. You blushed slightly when you heard his voice. You hear Josuke's mom direct Okuyasu to the living room and not long after you see him appear in the doorway.

He smiles upon seeing his friends but quickly frowns when his eyes land on you. The polite smile you had been offering him since he walked in the room now drooped into a frown of your own as you noticed the effect you had on him. Okuyasu felt a twinge of pain in his chest as he watched you frown, but brushed off the feeling. He quickly walked over to the couch you and Koichi were sitting on and took a seat on the opposite end from you. You propped yourself up on the armrest of the couch and let out a sigh as Okuyasu busied himself with a conversation with everyone but you.

"Oh, (Y/N). Tell them about what happened at the sandwich shop the other day!" Josuke prompted, noticing he hadn't heard your voice being a part of the conversation.

"I'd rather you told the story, Josuke," Okuyasu said simply. You pouted at his harsh words and watched as Koichi gave him a slap on his arm. Okuyasu hardly reacted.

"I'm still playing the game," Josuke said awkwardly, trying to come up with any reason to include you.

"Yeah, Oku. Let (Y/N) tell it," Koichi said. Okuyasu rolled his eyes and mumbled something. Koichi turned to you expectantly, ready to hear the story.

You began to recount the events of the other day when you and Josuke had gotten into trouble at the sandwich shop for trying to steal a sandwich. The two of you didn't really have a reason for doing so, just some mindless teenage fun. Nonetheless, it made for a great story filled with anticipation and laughter. You even made Okuyasu laugh a couple times, which made your heart soar.

"You guys really did that?" Okuyasu asked between laughter.

"Seriously. And now we're banned!" You finished. The room erupted in laughter as the four of you giggled about how childish you and Josuke had been.
