"So how was the race track?" I asked Jessie cautiously really hoping she hasn't put any pieces together.

Her face lit up immediately, "Oh my god Allison you missed the best race I have ever seen. It was amazing. This chick was on a horse that would like never win and then she like passed everyone and won the race. Then Nick bet Jason that he couldn't get the hot chick jockey's number and she totally rejected him. It was hilarious! Then Nick bet Hunter he couldn't get in the jockey room and give her his number. She actually let him through and now the chick named Samantha has Hunter's number! We missed you and it was a great day oh my god I wish you were there it was so funny. Jase was like 'You showed those boys who's boss, and your hot. What's your number?' And she was all like 'Uh no sorry'. It was so funny! Oh Allie we missed you. You have to come next time." Jessie rambled and I just smiled at her, already knowing the story.

I was put in a awkward position and it was my own fault. I shouldn't have asked. Now this involves me talking in third person when I can barely talk in first.

"She was really hot. Hotter than any girl in this school," Jason spoke to me. That's nice he actually thinks I'm good looking. Too bad I can't ever make fun of him for it.

I decided to go along with it instead of sitting there awkwardly like I was doing for the past 5 minutes. "What did she look like?" I questioned, trying to act intrigued.

"Well when we were close to her she was caked in mud but it was still attractive. She had long blonde, lighter blonde than your hair, and beautiful blue eyes. Here I'll just google her," Jason stared off into space daydreaming about me.

"No it's fine, you don't need to," I blurted a little too quick. There has to be some picture on there of me. "I mean it's okay, I'll look her up when I get home," I said as casually as I can.

He just ignored me and then typed something. A minute later he held up his phone to me. It was a picture of me after that race, caked in mud, with my helmet off whispering to Leah. I must say that was a better one of me. "Look she's really hot. Anyways apparently this horse is her like favorite and only ever rides 2 horses from this scum guy who has no money. She raced on Sunday on her second horse, Starfish Soup and won again with extreme odds. Damn, I wish I could see her again."

"Wow you really did some stalking on this poor girl," I say with an edge on my words. How dare he call Reed scum? Also why is he so obsessed with me? It was starting to freak me out. "And I have not forgiven your sorry butt for lying to the hospital."

"I don't care. You won't be starting quarterback much longer, trust me you will get hits you can't take," Jason laughed to himself.

"I'm starting quarterback?" I asked suddenly shocked. I never looked on the sheet and haven't been to practice. Could he be telling the truth?

"Guys please stop arguing. Jason you were low to do that to Allie and spread rumors. You deserve to be starting QB from what I heard Allie," Jessie luckily interrupted our little fight. I bit my lip to keep me from smiling.

Throughout the day I get many stares. Some people come up to me and say they are sorry about my aunt. I had one boy ask me if it was true that I put my aunt in a coma. I said no even though I don't know how or why but I knew I had to visit her sooner rather than later.

I tell coach I have to leave at 4:30 to get to the hospital before 5. I was finally going to see her. It surprised me that the hospital never called again. They probably tried calling Blake or Autumn but neither of them could actually talk to the hospital. I put on Autumn's dad's giant padding and start warming up.
